Color Animals Coloring Book

These are very cute. They are also a good size for packing in shoe boxes.

The critters are adorable and the portable size is great. There are a few pages with color charts and examples if you need a guide or are a beginning colorist. The paper is excellent with colored pencils. The pictures are on one side only. This particular book is "bound" at the top so it's particularly easy to color, especially if you're away from home. I've gotten quite fond of Volinski's style, which is simple but charming--it's ideal for days when I want something with less "reality" and less detail, and lends itself to some really fun color combinations--though I personally usually stick with my pastels and earth-tones even with these, you can "go wild" if you so desire. I would say this is a good book for all ages.

Was bought as a birthday gift, daughter loves the coloring book.

I have a couple of the 8 1/2 x 11 books from this artist and this book basically has the same type of fun designs just shrunk to the smaller size. However, this does make the designs more intricate compared to their full size counterparts which I’m not necessarily thrilled with. They are still not as intricate as some of the other popular adult coloring books, like Bashford, as a comparison. The paper is a decent weight like the full size books so you can use alcohol markers and the page doesn’t warp and the colors don’t bleed outside the area you colored (but they do bleed through to the back for the markers I have tried).

I bought these color books because I love Jess Volinski's color books. I have several of her bigger ones, but these are nice to take on the go and I know my granddaughters will love them.

I typically pay attention to dimension details as Amazon has taught me not to assume--must have missed this one as its the dimension of an oversized note pad, not a typically coloring book. The upside is the images are super cute and it could easily fit in a little girls backpack or tote bag

I bought this for an 8 year old and 10 year old girl and when it arrived I couldn't believe it was like a mini-coloring book. Definitely not full size. That's on me. The product listing says it's portable, so that's my bad. The kids won't color in in because it's too small. It's cute, but maybe putting a picture in the product listing that shows how small it is will prevent other people like me who only care about the coloring pages from getting something they won't use. If you're okay with a super small book, go for it, but this was a waste of money for me.

I liked that there was enough detail in the pictures to make them interesting but not so much that I got overwhelmed colouring them. The pictures all tend to be quite friendly in appearance. She has several pages at the front with various colour palettes and suggestions, a more experienced colouring person might not enjoy this but I found it very helpful

great designs perfect for relaxing also these are good for people that have anxiety it helps your mind to chill out the designs that are just nice i have bought a few of these books brill .

Book is not full paper size but its not too small either. It is very cute and great pictures to colour inside. Great for the kids in the car or at home. My daughter is 5 and loves it but I would say it's a little advanced for her. It's more suited for 8-10 year olds.

Cute pictures, very small. Good for traveling

Got it for my 10yr old we color together and they love it. Theres two super cute fox pictures and lots of other animal pages. Its travel sized which is nice it will be easy to take in the car with us.
