This is a LIFE CHANGER! Shaving doesn’t hurt and I don’t get bumps or ingrown hairs on my neck anymore. No ripping or pulling sensation when you shave.It’s not as close of a shave (honestly not that much of a difference) but if you have sensitive skin, you’ll be happy to shave more often when it’s free from pain and irritation. The razor cartridge slides onto the head of the razor handle from the side which is unusual, but easy to adjust to.From what I read, this razor was designed for people of color with coarse curly facial hair that tends to become ingrown when cut with traditional razors. I’ve got stick straight hair but the same problem. I also imagine it would be perfect for guys that want that five o’clock shadow look. Shave the night before and I bet it would give the desired look.

I’ve been using the bump fighter system for over 18 years and never had a problem, the system works and it stops unwanted razor bumps, especially if you use it while showering and by shaving in the direction of your hair growth.So when I saw the metal one, I was excited because I had been using the rubber/plastic covered one for years. However, the steel one is NOT stainless steel. So it started to rust, and now I use the plastic/rubber one once again (it doesn’t rust). That is why I gave this particular one a 2 star. I’d rather pay twice as much for stainless steel handle that doesn’t rust if I am going to use a shiny steel one. Otherwise, the rubber/plastic one is superior because it does NOT rust.It would think it would be obvious you would use stainless steel for a product like this since it is constantly in contact with water and most likely stored in a bathroom. But I digress, the plastic/rubber one is still better for longevity. Once they make one that’s stainless steel so it doesn’t rust I’ll try again, but until then save your money and use it on the rubber/plastic handle.

I've used Bump Fighter blades for years. I bought this chrome handle just simply because I think it looks nice. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually get a better shave. I don't know why this is but it's a noticeably better shave. As some reviews here stated, there is more weight in the back of the handle. I don't see how this is a problem at all. The bottom line is that I get a better shave and whether it's due to more weight in the back or not is irrelevant. I like the heavy, substantial feel and won't be going back to a plastic handle.

I have been using the Bump Fighter blades with the Bump Fighter handle for a few years, and I have been pretty much satisfied with the elimination of shaving bumps and ingrown hairs. The actual shaves have been passable to good, but not great as I have always had problems getting a close shave on my chin and around my mustache. I accepted this as a trade off for a clearer complexion.This handle changed everything after just one shave. The longer, narrower neck and the angle of the head have combined with the added weight to provide an optimal shave without applying any pressure at all.In short, this handle makes the cartridge perform better than it does with the handle that comes with the Bump Fighter cartridges.My chin and mustache area are cleaner than ever. I will absolutely buy this handle again - or at least give very strong hint to receive it as a gift!

I like to the feel of this razor in my hand. The heaviness reminds me of my dad's old razor. A great value for the money.

I held off purchasing this for about 4 months and finally broke down and bought two; one for me and one for my son. Glad I did. It's like night and day shaving with this vs the plastic one. So good, I guess I am going to have to buy one for my travel kit too.

This product is terrible, blades do not cut, don’t waste ur money, I’ve been shaving for over 40 years but this is the worst blad I have experience, the handle is ok but the blades DO NOT CUT. On rope of that the item is non returnable or refundable.

I have been using bump fighter razors for over five years. I have used the disposable razors as well as the Bump Fighter brand handle with detachable blades. This handle is unquestionably the best by far. It gives me the closest, easiest, most comfortable shave by far. I have found the weight balance and handling of this razor handle to be absolutely perfect.
