Works well, item as described, satisfied customer.
I used this to attach the 6” side to a wall cap and the 8” side to 8” flex duct. It worked perfectly and feels very well made, nice and solid. I would recommend.

Super great quality, really a thing of beauty and all I expected was a reducer
I just needed a reducer fitting and wasn't expecting much. I have gotten a lot of off kilter cheap sheet metal fittings over the years and didn't have high hopes for this. It was absolutely perfect, you don't have to be an aficionado of manufacturing to really enjoy this level of quality but I am a real nerd for industrial beauty. Keep up the good work....

Great duct reducer. Worked perfectly.
This was purchased to use on our new range hood that had an 8" opening. Our existing duct was only a 6" so this was needed to connect the two. It worked perfectly. The quality of this item seems to be higher than adapters I've seen in my local stores so I expect it to last at least 20 yrs. Whoever made this one actually takes pride in their work. Shipping was very fast from the west coast to FL. The item arrived earlier than expected. Great seller!

Fits over my 8 inch grizzly dust collector port and 6 inch flex
Fits over my g0862. 8 inch grizzly dust collector port ... snug fit with 6 inch flex hose over the other end. Built sturdy, i am able to put a hose clamp on both ends with no problem and the material is very rigid

This is very well made, heavy duty guage galvanized. Worked great for reducing our 8" vent to 6".

Good construction, good fit
Very well constructed, and the price is reasonable. Both ends fit the standard ducting I attached very well, with little play after ensuring the duct was fully inserted. Instead of having to drive around trying to find one locally or finding a distributor, I was really happy to find this reducer online.

Solidly built, but not what is pictured
It is solidly built. However, the flange at both ends is much shorter than what is shown in the picture. The taper is a fairly rapid taper, rather than a long taper. That said, it is solidly built. Putting a picture up of something other than what is actually being sold is dishonest and misleading. If seller had shown picture of what is actually being sold, would have rated 5.
