Don't know how easy they are to form to what you need. Turns out that these fit into the area we needed replaced without having to notch or change them. I think whoever put the stove together with the fire bricks years ago on delivery should have put whole ones like these where we just replaced them. They are snug and not floppy like the original notched ones. Liking that they are rated for high heat and they are not heavy either. I was able to pick up the box of 5 and carry them to where they were needed and I can't carry heavy things. They arrived with no flaws or cracks and we have three safely ready and waiting in their foam pack for replacement when we need them.

Good quality Fire Bricks, thanks

Each brick is sandwiched between layers of soft foam, with more soft foam on top and bottom. Getting the first brick out without damaging anything is a little tricky (lay the box on it's side on a workbench), but once you get one out the rest are easy. The quality of the bricks themselves is good. They're consistently sized, within less than 1/8" of each other. They insulate very nicely, with a layer of matrikote on the flame sided faces my travel forge can get up to forge welding temps even in a gusty field.
