This was easily one of the best transactions I’ve ever made on Amazon! Everything came SO fast! I haven’t had a an Amazon package delivered to me this fast in a long time. I bought this for my 3rd grader. They just started the school year and this year they are being introduced to multiplication and division. Their teacher already gave them a multiplication chart just like this. It’s a perfect size and fits into their nightly homework folder. However, their teacher never gave the students a division chart. So that’s when I came online to look for one. All the other charts I found were all poster sized big charts for a classroom wall. I didn’t want that. I wanted something similar to the size of notebook paper that she could easily pull out and look at and easily take to and from school and put into her daily folder, or have on her desk at school. This is the PERFECT size! Not only do you get this perfect sized division chart, but you also get a white board that is about the same size as the chart. This is INCREDIBLE and going to be so helpful because it already has the layout for how to correctly write the division problem, and the board also directs them to accurately break down the problem and ultimately solve the problem. We’ve been using the backs of notebooks and scrap paper and old mail to practice and solve multiplication and division problems. This will be so incredibly useful and so helpful to use for homework time. It’s portable and easy to clean. This is a wonderful price for what you get and how quickly you get it! The store owner put a smile on our face with their kind personalized handwritten note included in our package. Everything was snug and nicely packed. I will definitely tell my child’s-classmates- parents about this awesome and helpful product! If your child is just starting to learn division, this is a perfect thing to start with and order. Just one evening with this board and chart has already made such a HUGE difference. Just a couple hours ago, she had no idea what division was. She just did an entire worksheet of over 25 questions and got them all right- simply from using this chart and learning the formula on how to solve the equation. These lap boards are thick and sturdy, well made. The lines printed on them will last and withstand a lot of kid use. I ordered these because a couple of my kids struggle with the process of when to carry down numbers in long division. This is an excellent visual reminder with the drop down lines to show how you move through the process of division. The lines that drop down help make that easy for visual learners. I have ordered several things from this company and have been impressed with not only the quality but the fact that they are unique. I couldn’t find any similar product that helped with visual processing the same way these have. They are easy to use and make the kids excited to try something different. My only comment is I wish there was a version without the remainder that allowed for the same visual with dividing by a 2 digit number.

These work great for our homeschool

I’m a homeschool mom and my son has never had a hard time with math until we hit division with remainders and long division. He really struggled with the steps and keeping everything lined up. This has been great because it is a visual reminder of steps plus it keeps the numbers lined up correctly. I love that it is reusable too. We did do a similar set up on paper before but the squares were too small. The big squares are helpful to my kiddo since he writes big. It also has a sheet that shows you how to use the board.

I never leave reviews, but this one is worth it. This is so useful for helping your child learn the steps of long division. We use Singapore math for our homeschool curriculum and it follows how they teach the steps exactly. Even if you use a different curriculum, this would be helpful as it really helps cement the process of long division. It is sturdy and wipes off well. There is a backside that eliminates the boxes and arrows so once they know the process they can try a problem without the prompts! Thanks for a very useful product!

I bought this to introduce division to my 9 year old. Maybe try color coding the steps on the board - outline each box to coordinate with the step.It was overwhelming for her but the layout works well for teaching the steps.Just realized the division chart was missing.

I ordered these for my upper elementary students, and it makes it easier for them to line up their multiplication problems and adds clarity to their problem solving. The middle school students love to use them also. It's easy to clean, it's a descent size, thick and sturdy, great quality. We used them in the classroom, but it can fit in a bookbag, it's portable. We used them 1:1 or in a small group. I bought a division one also.

Teaching a child how to do long division has been so much easier using this white board. The board is sturdy. The surface wipes clean easily. The size is perfect for a child with poor penmanship to be able to organize and perform long division accurately. My child went from struggling with long division to understanding and accurately performing calculations.
