Old bag received.
The plastic has melted or something and has become brittle, it was found broken when unboxed. As I guess it is an Old bag.

A few new features over other cases, but not worth it (to me)
I am always on the search for the perfect case to hold my photo gear. I had previously used a Thinktank/SKB case of the same dimensions, as well as currently using a Nanuk 935 case. I had purchased this case after doing some light research on alternatives, and *thought* that this was the solution for just a bit more space. This case is advertised as the high lid, and the internal dimensions I saw suggested it had about an inch more clearance inside. Upon receiving the item, just seeing the box it was in I became disappointed. It was the same dimensions as my previous two cases.Compared to the other two cases, the Manfrotto feels less sturdy, and the plastic definitely bends when applying weight to it. Of the 3, the SKB has the sturdiest plastic with a texture that doesn't show scratches as much. The wheels on the SKB case are better than the other two and are easily replaced, with the Nanuk case coming in second. Another disappointment is that the Manfrotto case does not have an available lid organizer, and the SKB organizer is just a bit too big to fit. The extending handle on the SKB is easier to use if you are left handed, though the Nanuk seems to deploy better. Regarding interior space, the Nanuk seems to make better use of it, while the SKB has thicker padding. The one standout feature of the Manfrotto case is you are able to attach accessories to the exterior such as a laptop holder, tripod/light stand holder, or other accessories. I was excited to use this feature since I carry a light stand with a Godox AD200 with me on weddings, but with the downsides of the rest of the case I guess I'll have to think of something else. What really disappoints me is that no manufacturer has stepped up and made something with a deeper capacity for those of us who use gripped camera bodies with this specific length/height. Many of us professionals would like a case like this to use daily and don't care about it being carry on compliant. Just an inch more of depth and it would be perfect, instead of squeezing it in there. For reference, what I fit in my Nanuk 935 is:2 Canon EOS R6 with attached battery gripsRF 70-200 2.8LRF 14-35 f4LRF 50 1.2LRF 35mm 1.8EF 100mm Macro with RF adapterEF 85mm 1.4L IS2 Godox V1 flashes2 Godox transmittersZhiyun Molus X100 with battery and 1/4-20 adapter attached to quick swap with my AD2002 extra LP-E6NH batteries in lid organizerExtra Godox V1 battery in lid organizercompact RGB LED panel in lid organizercompact bulb style blower in lid organizermiscellaneous documents in lid organizer

Can't go wrong with Manfrotto
This my second Manfrotto roller case. Two years ago I bought a Manfrotto Reloader-55 Pro Light, a great bag but too large for carry-on. The Air-50 is perfect for carry on. As a bonus it is sturdy enough to check. If you do a lot of travel on small regional airlines on planes like the CRJ often you are requested to gate-side check your carry on that would otherwise fit in the overhead bins on larger planes. I never worry about checking this bag and as a bonus it has a TSA approved lock for added security. Highly recommended.
