Awesome!
I decided to give this a try since my Alpine MRP-1000 does not have an RJ45 port and I am so glad I did. This CT Sounds Bass Knob does exactly what it stated it would do.Upon it's arrival, I scratched my head trying to figure out where I would install this on my 07 Scion tC; and at first I was going to screw it to the underside of my dash, but no, I wanted it to look professional. After taking some measurements, I decided to cut the devices screw tabs off so that it would fit perfectly in the center console pocket. After modifications to the underbelly of the pocket, this little guy fit like a glove. Unfortunately, the knob protrudes beyond the closing point of the cover, so it has a 1/4" rise to it when closed. Which isn't a big deal for me. Plus, when I want to turn the device on/off, all I have to do is push the cover when it's closed. BAM! It will be open most of the time anyway. And the best thing about it's location is that while driving, since my right arm is always resting on the console, I have super easy access to adjust the output.I have noticed (as other reviews have mentioned) that there is indeed a cutoff point where it doesn't really have much of an impact. Again, that is no big deal for me as the ease of use saves me the hassle of taking my eyes off the road while driving just so I can navigate through my head units touch screen functionality. The included wiring diagram on the back of the package was perfect for an easy install. I did however order the exact colors of the wires needed (18AWG) so that I could solder at the unit and made a custom wire harness just for extra pizzazz. Used quick connect ends for the remote wires in the event I ever have to remove it and piggy backed directly off the head units power and ground. Too easy!Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this CT Sounds Bass Knob! Looks awesome - sounds awesome!

Perfect
Works exactly as described....though it is very very bright at night. I will certainly have to put something over the display such as tint if I have some left. It was shipped out quickly and was fast shipping. Couldn't ask for anything more!!

Works great. Durable and easy to set up
I have had this for a few months, it has been working great and was pretty straightforward to install. I’ve also accidentally kneed it a couple times getting out of the car and it has survived so that’s a bonus tooUPDATE: after I hit it with my knee again for the 10th time the knob broke off but I bought a new one and replaced it and have been extra careful since. I still love this thing and it’s super convenient for adjusting my sub without having to touch the amp and it’s a big bonus seeing the battery voltage

Better than your amps Boost knob
I was a somewhat skeptical the sound would reduce in volume or quality before I purchased but neither of those fears came true, this thing is great. The voltmeter seems accurate but the hole in the side has a pot to allow you to calibrate it, if needed. The knob is not loose, it has a "dead zone" where it doesn't turn the control its attached to. It will definitely not get turned by loud music or bumps. The power LED is ridiculously bright, and I knew that from the reviews, so I hid it inside of a 1-din pocket with a flip-up door, available from Subaru for Foresters but made to work in my WRX. I like that it says "On" when powering up and "Off" when powering down, either by ignition or by the button on the dial. I pulled it open and was surprised to see its chip controlled on a high quality PCB. The wires are tiny and the RCA's aren't the best in the world but they do what they need to do. All of the wires are on JST type connectors to attach them to the PCB so I could probably replace all of them if I wanted to. I got a 4 wire connector that had matching wire colors and put that on the end, soldered and shrink wrapped. The car side of the connector was soldered into the wiring harness and the remote wires were crimped, being assembled in the car. I used a short 1.5' RCA to go to the radio. Makes for a very slick knob that does everything its intended to very well.
