Creamy like butter
Wow absolutely love these. Very creamy. Very blendable. I also have another set from Paul Ruben.. I think these are just great. Some are oily… but they are oil pastels.

Great value!
I use these all the time. These are very sticky but extremely white and I use it as the top layer when highlighting. It does blend well. I recommend using gloves when handling.

Okay product, would choose a different color series
These are okay to use and practice with. I suspect the colors I received are slightly different from what was advertised. I couldn’t find a color palette with color names anywhere. So I made my own as pictured here (some info missing because I already used them and lost some info). The color names were different in format and language, as if they were just pulled together somewhat randomly. When I tried to compare with the nameless palette in product info, I couldn’t match them exactly. 20% of them were waxy and slippery, uneven with color pigments. Others were rich and even. On the positive side, they are slightly bigger than two other brands I bought. And they’re indeed soft and easy to use. Overall, I would recommend this brand. But I won’t buy this particular color mix. By the way, the box says Sea Scenery, not Landscape.

Creamy and highly blendable
Very creamy and blend beautifully. I use a lot of white and this has become a favorite for how it blends.

Vibrant colors
High-quality and vibrant colors. I used pastels for the final touches on my abstract paintings.

Landscapes does not equal Seascapes
My only real complaint is that the description is a little misleading. It says 72 Landscape colors. Yet the box says Sea Scenery Colors (which the photos fail to show), and the pastels themselves were indeed very blue-heavy; and not a single decent yellow. I was very disappointed because I focus on forests, fields, mountains, etc. Since I unwrapped the box I didn't think I could return it, and they're not that much money so I jut ordered the Floral colors box. Again, it did not have the greens and yellows I was looking for! At this point I was adamant I was going to get the colors I wanted and ordered yet a third box! - this time the smaller, Vibrant colors box. I expect it today, and if it fails me again I am just quitting art. Finished. Done. ;-) But they are nice and creamy. I have nothing but cheap brands to compare to, but as what I guess is a middle range quality product, for the price they seems very worth it. But I did NOT need nearly 200 sticks! And yes, there are duplicates, at least between the 2 bigger sets I bought. I would have appreciated a more accurate description.

Excellent!
If you're looking for a premium set of oil pastels, the Paul Rubens Haiya Set 60 is definitely worth considering! The pastels are soft, blend beautifully, and are highly pigmented, making them a joy to work with. I’ve got the 60-colour set, which comes with a handy colour leaflet and swatch card (check out the photos). Each pastel has important details printed right on the wrapper: lightfastness, pigment composition, and opacity rating. It's a great feature, though I’d love to see this info added to the leaflet next to each colour for easier reference. One minor note: the colour code and name are printed on each pastel wrapper, but there’s a slight inconsistency in where they appear—some are on the top, and some are on the bottom (see pics). I'd recommend swatching all the colours first, as you might lose some of this info if the wrappers are removed. Overall, a fantastic set for both beginners and pros! ⭐️

Excellent set for new artists (and experienced)
I’ve been really happy with the quality of these oil pastels. Yes, some are “oily” but I also have senneliers that leech oil - just wipe it off and it’s fine. Comments about them not being opaque or creamy enough also don’t bother me as I also have senneliers that are the same - you just have to layer more. If you are wanting to give softer oil pastels a try this is a great kit to learn layering and blending with as they do this very well, and all without splashing out on the more exxy stuff. Colour fastness so far is fine, no crumbling after it dries. And they are nice and chunky so they don’t snap easily like my Pentel ones do. Down side to this kit is that the greens are too bright, but again, it’s a sea scape set, and that chunkiness makes it hard for fine details. They otherwise blend and work very well with all the other pastel brands I use, and work well with a palette knife for flowers etc. these pictures below were all made using the Paul Rubens kit + senneliers. Quality between the two are indistinguishable.
