Easy to Assemble, Sturdy for the Price, Invest in a Ratcheting Screwdriver
I read the reviews before purchasing and was felt like I was pleasantly surprised once I got everything out of the box. The box itself was super well packed and even had thick cardboard attached/glued to each edge for extra support. There were no dents or holes in the packaging whatsoever. Everything is labeled for easy assembly, screws, pieces, brackets, ect. The cabinet sides and doors are a little thin, however, if you're not kicking the thing, it won't be a problem. There are two magnets that hold the doors shut, and honestly, they're a little strong for the weight of the doors, so I may set them a little further back to accommodate, as they make the doors more difficult to open. I was able to assemble the entire thing by myself, but would have appreciated a second pair of hands to mount the doors. I started with the center hinge and used my foot to steady the while putting the other two hinges in place (on each door) and then tightened once they were all on. You can loosen the stopper on the back of each hinge and that helped with getting the doors to close without a huge gap at the bottom. I may adjust further, we'll see. This cabinet does hold quite a bit, and I'm still figuring out what goes where. I mainly purchased this cabinet for pantry space as my kitchen cabinets are not deep or high enough for cereal boxes and at 5'5" the cabinets themselves are too high for me comfortably reach anything placed in them. My kitchen does have a lot of storage space, just not as easily accessible as I'd like. This cabinet solves those issues. Now the less used items can live on those high shelves and my food can be easily grabbed without ten other things falling down. A couple of recommendations: Have patience with assembly and lay out all of your pieces beforehand. The instructions show what pieces go where, so I laid them out according to what I was working with and when. I have vinyl flooring so I used the box as a mat to assemble on (which worked surprisingly well), but I would say use the box or a carpeted area so you don't scratch the pieces (I did knock one part into another and made a tiny and barely noticeable dent, so try not to do that either). Make sure you have plenty of space, I only had my kitchen area to put this together and would have loved to have been able to not be right up against my stove and cupboards while screwing the sides onto the top/bottom. Also, get yourself a ratcheting screwdriver, it seriously saves your hand.

Good storage cabine that's well made/designed
This cabinet works great for storing my DVDs and such. The adjustable shelves make it very usable for items of different heights. A bit expensive but it seems sturdy and durable. This is the 3rd one I've bought of the same model though the first one was priced more reasonably.

NOT HEAVY DUTY like most Sauder, but it was what I needed
First, here’s what I like about these cabinets: They’re super easy to assemble. Well, that is compared to some products like this that I’ve assembled. The parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were complete and easy to understand (and in English). No boo-boos on the first one – I ordered two of them – and the second one went together even more quickly. They look nice. The molding trim on the doors gives them more of a custom look than your average white, assembled, particle board cabinet. The handles are a brushed-chrome finish and the hinges are heavy duty as well. It was well packaged. Both boxes arrived undamaged and the contents were in perfect condition. Now, their shortcomings: Every piece of Sauder Furniture I’ve ever assembled (and that’s a bunch of ‘em) has been made of ¾ inch particle board. This one is NOT, it’s much thinner! It’s more like 3/8 inch. Really. Some pieces bend when you push on them. That is both good and bad. It makes the cabinet not so heavy to handle and assemble (two people can easily lift it, or maybe one strong person). But it’s NOT HEAVY DUTY. That’s clearly stated in the description, if you read it carefully. They say the weight limit for the upper shelves in 25 lbs and the bottom shelf 50 lbs. I would not, under any circumstances, put that much weight on every shelf because I'd be afraid of sagging. Maybe half that, but then I’m careful. I knew this and I need it for storing lightweight items, so it suited my purposes. But don’t go thinking that you’re going to stock this baby with gallons of paint. Please. So, for me it worked fine. It has a strap you can screw the top to the wall with, and I recommend that you use it, because it could tip over. I will keep you updated if it fails to hold up in the long run. As a Prime member, I buy a LOT of stuff from amazon. Living out in a rural area far from a city, amazon is my go-to source for many of my purchases. I must rely heavily on your product reviews to help me decide which item is best for me -- especially when I can't actually see, touch or hold the product. I take my personal product reviews seriously, and if something proves to be a piece of junk, I'll tell you - and if it's great or mediocre, I'll tell you that, too. My policy is to try to write the kind of reviews I want to read and to update my reviews if for some reason the product fails to perform as advertised during the period it's warrantied for. I do ask that if you found this review helpful in making your decision, that you please click on the "yes" button below.

No surprises. Came in 100 pieces. Took 1/2 to put together. Looks great and very useful. I happy with the product

I don't know about some people's fuss about the quality of work. I like it. The finishing it nice. It is nicely polished so its smooth. This DIY was probably has the easiest instructions I've had ever. Some DIY will only give you a paper with one phone with an essay on it. I noticed it is manufactured in Thailand? Nice job on them too.
