I buy the Seagate portable hard drive to keep copies of my various pictures, videos, gifs, etc al just in case they need to be restored. I keep the back-up on continuous any time I change or add something to my folders. You need to download the Seagate back-up app from the Seagate website if it not installed with hard drive to work with the hard drive. I have used Seagate for over a decade.

Great drive. Fast only if you are fully complaint from drive to interface card/port at USB 3.2 -- typically using a Type A USB port which is generally no longer available on most laptops and sometimes available on desktops. I'm using a USB 3.2 Gen 2 PCIe interface card in my desktop but still don't think I'm getting full speed unless the bus on the computer itself can handle those data rates. However, overall, still very good buy.

It was exactly what we ordered - but we had to send it back. PlayStation will only handle up to an 8tb hard drive, and this was a 10. The return was easy though…just took it up to UPS and they handled the rest!

The external hard drive was defective it stop working after 3weeks and then when I attempted to reboot the drive it just started humming very loudly! It needs to be sent back for a refund

Ho acquistato questo HDD esterno Seagate Expansion da 10TB per fare il backup di vari dischi da 1TB che utilizzo in studio, come fotografo. Devo dire che è stato uno dei migliori investimenti che abbia mai fatto, soprattutto come professionista che lavora con file davvero grandi. Gestisco un flusso costante di immagini RAW da mirrorless (40megapixel per file), oltre a video per progetti documentari. Con 10TB di spazio, questo disco mi ha permesso di fare il backup di 4 dischi da 2TB, centralizzando una parte del mio archivio in un unico disco, e lasciando ancora 2 TB di spazio libero per il futuro. 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁à 𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶: 𝘂𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗱𝗶 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶 Partiamo dai numeri: 10TB netti, che equivalgono a circa 2,5 milioni di foto RAW da 40MB ciascuna o migliaia di ore di video 4K non compresso. La velocità di trasferimento è solida per un HDD meccanico: legge/scrive a circa 180-200 MB/s via USB 3.0, collegandolo al mio MacBook Pro o al Mac Mini. Non è un SSD velocissimo, ma per backup e archiviazione è perfetto: ho trasferito 2TB di archivio fotografico in circa un'ora senza surriscaldamenti. È plug-and-play, si formatta in un attimo in APFS on in EXFAT e il software Seagate Toolkit incluso permette backup automatici programmabili – ideale per chi come me scatta sul campo e scarica tutto a fine shooting sera. Archivio a lungo termine: Ho migrato tutta la mia libreria Lightroom Classic (oltre 50.000 immagini dal 2018) qui dentro. 2. Condivisione e editing collaborativo: Lo porto in studio per condividere file con assistenti o stampatori. A circa 20€ per TB, è estremamente conveniente rispetto ai concorrenti. 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶 Il disco Include 1 mese GRATIS di Adobe Creative Cloud Pro (tutte le app), risparmiando 60€ e integrando perfettamente il mio workflow. Più il servizio Rescue per recupero dati, che vale da solo centinaia di euro se mai ne avrete bisogno. 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗶 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 Non è portatile come un SSD (pesa 2,5kg e richiede alimentazione esterna), e per editing video 8K super-intensivo meglio un NVMe interno. Ma per il prezzo e lo scopo, è davvero ottimo. È solido come la roccia, conveniente da urlo, e quei bonus Creative Cloud + Rescue lo rendono un affare irripetibile. Davvero consigliatissimo se sei anche solo una persona che ama scattare foto con il telefono e vuole avere un disco a casa dove scaricare dati e foto di famiglia. ハードディスクは、私の経験上 Seagate派です。 25年以上、パソコンを使用していて ハードディスクが 壊れたことがないのはSeagateだけです。 WDも、HITACHIも、TOSHIBAも 壊れました。 TOSHIBA 14TBは、寿命が超短かった。 そのTOSHIBA 14TBが壊れたので ハードディスクを探していると Amazonアウトレットで ケース破れの理由で この10TBが22000円という破格を 見つけました。即買いです。
