We have two dogs that need to go out and every morning and night we need a good powerful and dependable light as we have woods with "other animals" out there! Deer, foxes, skunks, raccoons, whatever! This powerful light lights up the night and allows the wife and I to "clear the area" before the walk. And, when I say "powerful" I mean this thing is bright! Its a nice compact size that fits right in a jacket or pants pocket. But, the best feature is its either on or off. My wife (and I) both find those "five mode" lights more annoying than useful. I mean how often do I need to send an "SOS" in my back yard! With this light you hit the button and you have lots of light. If its too bright for you get something of lower power. We go this to light up the woods and that it does with ease. For our use you can not be "too bright". I mean, do you really want to walk into a skunk late at night with your dog? I have three of these now as after the first one I realized this was a very well made light that held up and was super simple for my wife. This kit gives you the light with two batteries and a simple charger. You will never have to be put out by a dead battery, you have a spare ready to go. I love it and I love the affordable price, its why I have three of them now. OH, and yes, I bought this, paid full price and tried a lot of lights before this. My "old man" eyes need a good bright light and this one does the job and more. I love it!

Great quality. I purchased to mount in a shotgun weapon mount. Fit well in the “Monstrum” brand weapon mount I purchased, when I used the supplied foam padding tape. Can run off of the supplied rechargeable batteries, OR, 2- CR123a batteries. Push button single mode, perfect for its intended use. Bright, sturdy, very well made.

I don't like a flashlight that has a strobe light that you have to cycle through to turn the thing off. This is either on or off, comes with two rechargeable batteries and a charger which is impressive. Has a nice belt clip, power button is on the back so it's not turning on in your pocket, and the brightness is perfect. I've recommended this light to all my coworkers and I've bought several for each vehicle I have. It's a great flashlight, simple, rechargeable and a good price.

UPDATE #2 I emailed Ultrafire, and they've informed me they're sending me a new flashlight. Excellent customer service, especially considering it's January of 2024 and I bought it in April of 2023! If the new unit works well, I will update to 5 stars! UPDATED REVIEW So, I thought that the light had a tendency to flicker, but I thought it was my imagination at first. After using other flashlights, this one definitely flickers. I bought it in April of 2023, and it hasn't left the house...it's been my in-house light when needed. To illustrate how much I've used it, I've only charged each battery once. It's definitely bright, and seems solid, but that flickering light just throws me off in the dark. This seems to be a good little light for the money. I like that it came with 2 batteries and they're own charger. If you were going to start experimetning with an EDC light, this might be a good guage for someone...it's a nice size...maybe a little on the large size for in-pocket, but many belt cases will fit this, if you're inclined to don your Bat Belt on outings. I did not rate based on the claims of how bright it is...it IS bright, but it's not 1000 lumens...at least, not by any conventional measuribilty that I know of. I do notice, occasionally, the light seems to flicker - so slightly that I wonder if I'm actually seeing it, or if it's my eyes, but I don't notice it on every light I use...so I don't think it's my eyes. The batteries are a great value because you can use them in other lights that take the same type.

I own three of these flashlights and have at least one with me at all times. None have ever let me down. There is always one in my pocket. They have been used as weapon lights, used under water, even ran over a few times and they still work. For years I carried Surefire lights such as the original 6P and the E2 and G2 models and my latest the L2X. But I actually like these Ultrafire lights even better and I no longer carry any of my Surefire flashlights. The Surefire flashlights were too small of diameter to utilize the rechargable 16850 lithium Ion batteries that the Ultrafire ships with and thus limits you to the expensive CR123 batteries. This light can run either way with the 16850 or two CR123 batteries if you prefer. These Ultrafire lights will also accept Surefire p60 style bulb assemblies as well. So if you are worried about the reliability of the factory LED unit, change it out to one of your liking such as a Malkoff or Surefire. That said, I have had no issues with the factory LED assembly. I highly recommend these single mode flashlights as a budget friendly alternative to the more expensive name brands.
