2024 UPDATE: Updating to 5 stars because my dog and I love these things. I think it seemed like the suction was gone at first because if you freeze the pad and it freezes in a weird shape the suction isn’t great. But freeze it completely flat and no problem. You don’t even have to freeze the treats on the pad, it just makes for a longer licky-session for the dog. I love that this comes with two pads, each has 4 different textures, comes with a spatula/scraper, and is so easy to clean. I usually hand wash but have put them in the dishwasher. My dog gets very excited when he hears “licky-pad time”! I usually put a couple treat types on at once and freeze. After trial and error, we’ve landed at our favorites being beef or turkey baby food and spray cheese (I tried the Kong cheese at first but it’s expensive, and figured he’s getting so little of the cheese it doesn’t matter if it’s the cheap grocery store kind). Canned pumpkin also worked but he wasn’t as gung-ho for it. Just rinse it off when done to get the “chunks” out, then run over the pad with some dish soap and dish brush. 2 minutes max. Let the dog lick the scraper clean before washing it. If I don’t feel like washing it I rinse and put in the dishwasher, and use the second pad. The suction stays strong. It really sucks to my sink bottom when I’m washing it! 2023: Really liked the product at first. Dog likes it, easy to use and clean. But after just a few uses and hand washing the suction cups didn’t work any more so now when he tries to lick the mat it slides all over the floor.

These are great for enrichment. The dogs love them and they suction well to the floor or window. I would not recommend leaving your dog unattended with them if they are the chewing type. My puppy managed to rip their's to shreds in a few minutes while I was out of the room. My older dog has kept their's in great condition with no issues for months. All in all, worth the value and it'll keep your pup happy for quite a while.

These lick mats are a hit with my 3 dogs who are all healthy and range from 40-70 lbs. First round, I spread some peanut butter on with the included silicon spatula and immediately gave to my dogs. It only took them a few minutes to get that up. I quickly learned that sticking the coated mats in the freezer for a few is really where it's at! Entertained my pups for at least 30 minutes and they easily settled after. Some mentioned it being difficult to clean, however, if you let them run under hot water and then soak for a bit, you can easily get the food out of all nooks and crannies. Simple as it gets to set up as the suction cups on the bottom are strong and hold the mats in place. I stick them to the floor for my shorter dogs and to the side of a dresser for my taller dog. So far we've tried peanut butter, yogurt, and applesauce with a drop or 2 of honey. We'll be getting lots of use out of these, just wish I had ordered more!

Quantity: I did not think I needed three, but multiples are nice for backups. I fill all three (peanut butter and canned pumpkin) and keep them in the freezer ready to go. Suction cups: nice, but the dog quickly pulls up the mat and moves it. It did stick to a smooth shower stall / cabinet, but it did not stay on these vertical surfaces very long. Size: good for my 45 pound puppy. He has not destroyed them and they are a valuable part of our daily routine helping to keep him occupied so I can have a couple minute break. Cleaning: in dishwasher (bottom rack even) and, so far, they have held up, but doe not get 100% of peanut butter off. So I use a toothbrush and then it cleans up easily. Overall good quality, easy to use.

These work great for my puppies. I got the large and they were a little smaller than expected I was hoping for them to be big enough to grow with them, but I don’t think they’ll be able to use them once they’re full grown dogs, but they’re perfect for puppies. They are pretty shallow so they don’t really fit much puppy kibble or anything larger than that but are great for wet food or pumpkin. I freeze mine and it takes them about 20 minutes to finish.

Was not sure if dogs would like textures but did not slow them down at all. Used Buddy Budder’s Peanut Butter flavored treat foods on mats and was a hit. Comes with little spatula to spread the soft food. Very easy to use.

Our dachshund would never let me trim her nails, so for the last year, we've had to take her to the groomer to get her nails done. I got tired of paying for this every month or so, and after reading an article about trimming dogs' nails that suggested using a 'licking mat' to distract the dog, I decided to give it a try. I had never even heard of a 'licking mat' before the article, but I am happy to say that these worked like a charm! The suction cups are really handy as you can stick them anywhere, depending on what activity you need to distract the dog for, and they seem durable. They are a bit tricky to clean by hand, as the peanut butter or other spread you put on the mat can be hard to remove from the grooves, however you can put them in the dishwasher if you need to. Very happy with this purchase and glad to know they will save us $ as the purchase price was less than what it cost us for one visit to a groomer.

C'est aussi un excellent outil pour ralentir la prise alimentaire pour les animaux qui mangent trop vite. ​Le petit détail technique : Un gros point positif est la résistance au congélateur. J'étale souvent de la purée de citrouille ou du yogourt nature, puis je mets le tout au congélateur 2 heures. Cela transforme l'activité en un défi de 15-20 minutes au lieu de 5 minutes, idéal pour les journées de pluie. ​Verdict : Un excellent investissement pour le prix. C'est un outil simple mais très efficace pour stimuler mentalement son compagnon. Je recommande le lot de deux, ce qui permet d'en avoir toujours un prêt au congélateur !

These stuck to my fridge and my dishwasher. Not my hardwood floors, but that’s okay! My dogs had a great time. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use crunchy peanut butter with these, because you will be scrubbing peanuts out of the crevices for days. Otherwise, these things are great

Yup, my Yorkie loves these. Pro tip, if you put peanut butter on it, use the back of a spoon and do a quick brush stroke. Don’t smush it into the mat bro! The peanut butter will not all rinse off or scrub off… or get eaten and it will need to soak in the sink for a while. 2nd pro tip - the suction cups on the bottom - they are legit. This thing will stick to a wall and you could probably use it as an urban climbing tool. But bro, when you touch this to the sink or are scrubbing it and innocently pick it up… it will be stuck…and when you rip it off, prepare for friendly fire.

Liked these at first but now they won't stick to glass anymore so are useless. Have used them only a handful of times.

Concept is great but it doesn’t stick anymore except for the sink when you’re trying to wash them
