This is a 500g carton of passata. The carton is resealable and has a spout similar to a carton of juice. This is great as it means you can use a smaller amount then close the lid Nd keep in the fridge until next time. The passata is a little sweet but has the usual citric acid/ acidity regulator taste. A bit of honey and it's easily neutralised. It's nice and thick with a smooth texture. There's no big lumps or tough bits. Just a nice smooth tomato stuff. Good quality and value. Recommended. Lovely passata, I normally use this to make my pasta sauce rather than buying it in the jar which seem more acidic. The texture is good and a great price.

Good product for cooking. The taste could see some improvements, however, it does the job and taste alright.

Much better than supermarket passatas. It seems to be thicker than Asda's, is lower in salt than Tesco's, yet still adds a rich tomato taste to a pasta sauce. Each carton (so far) has a re-sealable lid, so you can put the rest in the fridge for a few days. Plus, it comes in a handy 12-pack (although at the time of writing, a single or 6-pack is cheaper than the 12-pack for no apparent reason...)

È stata una scoperta che non mi aspettavo così sorprendente. Appena si apre la confezione si percepisce subito quella sensazione di prodotto curato, semplice ma ben fatto, con un colore rosso vivo che già da solo promette un sapore pieno. La consistenza è ciò che colpisce per primo: densa al punto giusto, liscia e senza quei fastidiosi grumi che spesso si trovano nelle passate economiche. Qui invece c’è equilibrio, un corpo cremoso che si presta sia alle cotture lente che alle preparazioni più rapide. Quello che ho apprezzato maggiormente è il gusto: intenso, profondo, genuino. Non è acquosa né eccessivamente acidula, anzi mantiene una dolcezza naturale che fa davvero pensare a un pomodoro raccolto al momento giusto. In cucina risponde benissimo: si amalgama senza sforzo, non “straccia” durante la cottura e mantiene il suo carattere fino alla fine. L’ho usata per un sugo veloce per la pasta e per una preparazione più lunga con carne e verdure, e in entrambi i casi ha dato quel tocco in più che di solito cerco in passate molto più costose. La confezione da 500 g è perfetta per single, coppie o per chi, come me, preferisce dosi che si consumano in una o due preparazioni senza sprechi. Il packaging è essenziale ma pratico, con un’etichetta chiara che riporta tutto ciò che serve sapere senza appesantire. In generale, colpisce per la sua semplicità ben fatta: un prodotto quotidiano che però sorprende per qualità, gusto e versatilità. Non sempre i prodotti a marchio Amazon riescono a distinguersi così nettamente, ma questa passata lo fa senza esitazioni. Una passata che vale davvero le 5 stelle: buona, equilibrata, affidabile e capace di elevare qualsiasi ricetta senza compromessi. Una scelta che rifarei senza dubbi.

Ho voluto prendere questa passata di pomodoro, primo perché la confezione in cartone aveva 500 grammi di passata in tutto, e sono proprio la quantità che mi serve di solito per la mia famiglia, né più e neanche meno, in modo da non aprire due passate o lasciarne un po' ogni volta. Non ero molto convinta, io adoro il sugo e avendo un compagno chef che cucina bene, sono abbastanza esigente, soprattutto per poter realizzare determinate preparazioni. Questa passata l'ho trovata magnifica!! E' vellutata al punto tale che sembra una crema e che abbia subito ulteriori passaggi o l'aggiunta di ingredienti per renderla così e invece no! Ho fatto un sugo base normale, con aglio, olio EVO, basilico alla fine e sale, senza aggiungere altri ingredienti che potevano alterarne il vero sapore o la consistenza. Si cuoce in modo perfetto non raddensandosi nemmeno se il fuoco è alto e dunque magari restringersi troppo, al primo assaggio non è dolcissima ha un retrogusto un po' acidulo e dico un po', ma aggiungendo una correzione di burro o zucchero e aceto insieme volendo o solo zucchero potete renderla più dolce, ma dipende dai vostri gusti, io avendola preparata per me e per persone che amano sentire il dolce del pomodoro ho aggiunto pochissimo burro, che non ha alterato la consistenza, visto che l'ho assaggiata prima e dopo ed era comunque molto vellutata. Ho scelto di averla in abbonamento e direi che il costo è perfetto, praticamente la media del supermercato se non più bassa ancora, vista la qualità. Assolutamente perfetta e consigliata.
