Good, well-priced set of gouache paints. A little goes a long way. Many professional book illustrators I know, use these in their artwork. I'm a beginner gouache painter, so not a lot to compare. The only other acrylic gouache I've used is Holbein, which is creamier, and has noticeably richer color - however they are expensive. As a beginner with acrylic gouache, the Turner is a great choice and will get you into using acrylic gouache with nice results. It leaves a fine, matte finish and is truly opaque - just what you want with gouache.

Small tubes, but pretty colors. My daughter found them satisfactory for what she needed them for at the time, but ask that I not buy this brand again.

I like to do mixed media paintings in my sketchbook. These paints worked out really well. I use them to cover the page. They dry very fast and then I use them to paint over the base coat. I can use other media such as oil pastels, woodies, posca markers and other items to add details with no problem.

Good consistency, colors, and they mix well, too.

This a review on the seller. Seems like the package was opened even though this was listed as new. Can’t tell if any paint was used. The paint itself is great quality.

Fun to use. Still learning how to handle them but so far I like them. It is a nice set of paints. Arrived very fast too.
