not lighting the entire woodland like most lights deliver in this price range
This spotlight delivers on every level, as it should at the price. My family lives on 8 wooded acres outside the southern region of Yosemite National Park. We have every kind of wildlife you can imagine traversing our property, from cottontail rabbits and deer, to mountain lions, rattlesnakes and an occasional bear. Our garage/shop is detached from the house as is our vehicles. Any errand that takes us away from the cabin at night requires a serious light. The Nitecore Tiny Monster TM28 6000 Lumens is just that. This spotlight provides a focused beam exactly where you point it, not lighting the entire woodland like most lights deliver in this price range. Highly recommended if you can swallow the pricetag.

The only flashlight you will need.
Purchased this flashlight because I saw it featured in a TV show called "Raised by Wolves", I also believe it was featured in one of the newer Star Trek TV shows. I thought it looked cool on the shows, so I did a google search and it eventually brought me to this product page. I can tell that the build quality is really good, it feels like it can take a great deal of damage. As for the brightness, it has multiple modes and will let you know certain information on the mini digital screen. The turbo mode will put out 6000 lumens at 45min max full charge. It is very bright for such a small flashlight. The instructions will tell you how to operate the different modes/battery settings and how to use lockout mode. This product also comes with a piece to use different batteries then the ones provided, but you must still use batteries that are suggested on the instructions. All these other flashlights that claim ridiculous amounts of lumens are all false advertising, but this product is the real deal. It may be somewhat expensive for a flashlight, but this one here will definitely outperform and outlast most other flashlights on the market.

This thing is a BEAST!
If you want a true high powered light .... Stop wasting money on other flashlights! This monster will light up as far as you can see! Only problem is when you run this one at full capacity the battery does not last very long and it puts off so much light energy the flashlight becomes a little on the warm side! It has several settings so a very useful design!

Very bright for the size- Bad battery life, gets VERY hot, and seems to turn off if shaken.
Bright- Very bright however this flashlight will get very-very hot after 2-3 minutes running the brightest mode. The button to turn the flashlight on/off is very-very sensitive and shaking the flashlight will turn it off. Battery life is very short. This is great if you want a very bright flashlight that is somewhat small or on your belt by your side for small bursts of super bright light. I consider this item somewhat over priced and I only recommend this item if you want something as bright as the bigger flashlights but half the size.

Blinding Light
The output of this light is positively amazing. Even at 4500 lumens it is blinding. At 6000 lumens it is off the chart bright. I believe this light to be actually 6000 lumens although I cannot say I have tested it scientifically. But put up against my Nitecore TM03 it is about twice as bright and that light is accurately rated at 2800 lumens. The only thing I dislike about this light is you only get the 6000 lumens with a special Nitecore proprietary battery that is $80 for a four pack and the thing takes four batteries. I think the light is actually brighter than my car's headlights but am unsure. It is not as wide a light as that anyway. The light is dramatically brighter than a light I bought that claims to be 10000 lumens. This is the brightest and best light I have found.
