Great concert, great CD
If you were a fan of the Eagles back in the 70's and 80's you probably know the meaning behind the title. For those of you that don't, when The Eagles took "a break" from playing together in the early 80's they did so because of a lot of fighting. When asked when they would play together again the response was "When hell freezes over!". The full concert that's on this CD is their first performance (talk about guts!) back together again. The song selection, performances and audio are amazing. I loved all the old classics but also loved the new song "Get Over It" which came from "Watching too much daytime tv where there are way too many stupid people with way too many stupid problems". Easily 5 out of 5 stars. Click add to cart and enjoy!

Very well done. I like it, but where is disk 2?
I actually saw the Eagles on this tour and it was amazing. I am not sure why I waited almost 20 years to buy the CD, but I ordered it from Amazon this week. The sound quality is great. The new songs are pretty good, but not like the best of the 1970s heyday. The version of Hotel California, with dual Mexican guitars, is amazing. I like that In The City is included to showcase Joe Walsh,and the song sounds great. The renditions of other hits like Take It Easy (a favorite since 1973) are also great and do not stray excessively from original recordings. If they included more classic songs, including the all acoustic portions of these shows, I would rate this a five-star. This should have been a 2-CD set.

Love the Eagles
I think this is the best album the Eagles ever made. I especially love the guitar solo on the opening song “Get over it”. So glad to have it again.

I am a big Eagles fan, especially this recording. Glad I was able to get it. It arrived on time, in good condition. I believe it was new! Enjoying it very much

Da tempo cercavo questo album.... Ne avevo sempre sentito parlare, alla radio ogni tanto mettevano Hotel California in versione Live, proprio tratto da questo album. Il titolo fa riferimento al loro passato burrascoso: dopo il loro scioglimento nessuno pensava che una reunion fosse possibile, tanto che il titolo tradotto suona come: "quando l'inferno diventerà ghiaccio" ed era una battuta di uno dei componenti che aveva detto che per tornare insieme L'inferno avrebbe dovuto ghiacciare... Così è stato per fortuna nostra... La prima parte è composta da canzoni che non conoscevo, poi arrivano i "classici" loro, arricchiti dal Live: Da Tequila sunrise a Desperado, Take the easy fino a Hotel California appunto... Da ascoltarlo dove e come si vuole, l'importante è che il volume sia "decisamente" alto... Grandi Eagles...
