My 8 year old loves it and so do I!
I bought this for my son for Christmas on a whim. He likes to fiddle with things to understand how they work and I thought this might make an interesting gift. I wasn't expecting it to be the hit that it was! You can create so many different and interesting circuits. My favorite was the radio- I was blown away at being able to pick up so many stations. This is such a great gift for curious little ones (and big ones, too!) and the price is amazing for what it is. I highly recommend!

5 Year old grandson loves it!
This is a great kit for young kids provided adult supervision is provided. It is well made and the instructions are good. Good value for money and recommended.

Good connection system /manual not very helpful
Overall, although the manual leaves much to be desired, I feel that this was a worthwhile purchase.I liked: The system of making connections and the rigid connecting pieces (the purple bars in the picture) is better for smaller children than either breadboards with jumpers or wires with screw terminals. I have tried all three with my 5-year-old granddaughter.I liked: that the components seem to be rugged enough for multiple handlings by children. This contrasts with breadboarding kits where you are just furnished parts , e.g. LEDs with just their original wire leads.I disliked: The manual. Except for the most simple set-ups, it is not clear what diagram is being referred to in the project directions. The manual was clearly not written by an English speaker. There is no discussion of what can be learned from the various projects. I can provide this myself but not all parents are as technically inclined. As far as the 8+ year age category, I can't say if this product could be used by that age group without adult supervision. With adult supervision, even younger children can benefit from this kit. As an example, For my 5-year-old granddaughter, I think she has learned that a complete circuit is needed for electricity to do anything useful.

Muy entretenido
Mis hijos entre 6 y 10 años, tuvieron muchas horas de juego. No enseña nada sobre electricidad pero es muy seguro y entretenido.

Ok for an hour of entertainment
Product is okay and a lot of fun but kids got bored with it pretty quickly there's only a couple of things you can actually build or do with it after that it's just kind of like whatever definitely wouldn't purchase it again for another family member no offense.
