Automating two sets of lights with no glitches after in initial setup. Needed a hard reset during that process but that was probably due to my complex wifi installation via PtP link and remote router/access point. A bench commissioning ahead of final fix is therefore recommended if the Shelly unit is to be located in a harder to reach area, ceiling void etc.

Well made and small. I fitted one inside a double light switch. Can set timer with software - very useful. I had some difficulty initially setting the device up. But support was helpful and the problem was soon resolved.I have since purchased two Shelly1 switches.

Works exactly as it should.Whether using it via wifi and app, Google assistant or home assistant. This is perfect with no weird quirks like cheaper brands. I will thoroughly recommend shelly to anyone wanting to set up home automation easily and reliably.I've used the dual relay to control my water feature on one channel and lighting on the other

Good for low power items. Found it overheats in boxes using 3000w items but software detects it and shuts down accordingly.

Great little item not much bigger than a Shell 1, however when attached to a ceiling fan plus 3 GU10 bulbs (60 total watts), it would overheat after an hour and shut off. I really wanted to love this item as much as the Shelly 1, but sadly it doesn’t fit the bill. The unit was placed in the overhead ceiling mount like our other Shelly 1s. I’m giving this 3 stars because of our positive experiences with the Shelly 1, but otherwise would only recommend this for low wattage projects that aren’t on for very long.
