Awesome design. Awesome value. This was my first QSP knife and definitely won't be my last!!

This is my first time with a sheepsfoot shaped blade. The D2 stainless steel is polished to a satin finish, which looks great. The grind on the blade is consistent and very sharp. The grind on the spine is smooth except near the blade tip, where the corners are a bit rough. I expected the brown micarta handle to have more texture and grip. The liner lock works well enough. Difficult to open with thumb studs, but that’s OK because it reassures me the blade won’t flip open while in my pocket. Open and close action is overall pretty smooth. I tend to switch out my EDCs often. I don’t mind carrying this one so far.

Love it but I've had it like 30 some days and I have many pocket knives I have a little obsession going on put it in my box pulled it out a couple weeks later little rough spots on it??? It wasn't used it was just carried you know a week or so in and out of the pocket maybe open a box or two no wetness around it it's in a good dry box with some of those silicone packets to keep stuff from rusting little disappointed in that polished it out she can still see the little marks then again it was like 30 bucks so I can't hate on it much

The qsp penguin is one of my all time favorite knives. I’ve got knives that range from $5 to custom $1200 knives. The penguin is just so simple and easy and smooth. It comes razor sharp out of the box and stays sharp forever! I have several of these with different finishes and handles and will one day have them all lol

Just received my first QSP Penguin knife, Pocket clip: Sturdy. Handle texture: Smooth, but not slippery. Opening: Thumb tabs (smooth opening/loud "click"). Blade: Like a small straight razor; be very, very careful. Insane deal for the price.
