Works awesome on Windows laptop. I have this one that has dual HDMI, and another that has dual DisplayPort. Amazing value for the price.

I feel like I've been living under a rock until I bought this. So cheap and small, doesn't require a power adapter and supports 2 x 4k screens. Only wish the USB cable was bigger but then it wouldn't be so easy to pack for travel. Couldn't recommend it more.

This is an excellent product! It's one of the very few (or only?) on the market I'm aware of that actually allocates all 4 high-speed USB-C channels to DisplayPort/HDMI, enabling the maximum video bandwidth possible. It's enough to drive dual 2k (2560x1440) monitors at 75Hz.Other USB-C hubs only use half of the available USB-C bandwidth for video, reserving other channels for USB 3.0 high-speed ports and gigabit ethernet, on the hub. The Cable Matters hub, by contrast, uses ALL high speed bandwidth for video, and therefore only provides USB 2.0 ports and 100Mbit ethernet on the hub. This is better for anyone who wants to run dual displays at resolutions higher than 1080p -- other hubs can only run dual displays at 1080p. (They, of course, don't tell you that -- instead they will claim "4k @ 30Hz" -- but what they don't tell you is only ONE display can be driven at that resolution, not two.)Also, Cable Matters customer support is excellent. When I first bought this hub, I had some compatibility issues with my Chromebook, where it wouldn't behave reliably. They worked with me in an attempt to figure out the issue, even sending another hub to see if I might've received a defective one. Eventually, a Chrome OS update actually solved it - Cable Matters went above & beyond even when their product wasn't to blame.Highly recommend.

It’s very practical

I liked that it could power 2 extended monitors at the same time and overall it seems like a good product. It had some "blips" where after having computer open and working for a few minutes my screens would go black for a few seconds then bring the images back up. As of today, it stopped working all together and does not send a signal to the monitors.....I'll have to see what I can do to get a replacement....stay tuned.Update: Customer Service was EXCELLENT, they contacted me about a replacement and I had it within a few days. Back up and running both monitors!! This is a convenient little hub that works great for my needs, hopefully the replacement keeps working for a long time.
