Before buying the Mederma PM Intensive Overnight Scar Cream, I read a lot of positive reviews online and had high hopes for it. I purchased it here in the UAE, thinking it would help significantly with my scars caused by a hot wax burn under my arm. Unfortunately, after using an entire tube consistently, I haven't seen the “magical” results that so many people seemed to mention. I followed the instructions carefully and applied it every night before sleeping, as recommended. The cream itself is easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which I appreciated. However, in terms of actual scar improvement, I have not seen major changes. The scars are still very visible, and while there might be a slight softening of the skin texture, it’s definitely not the dramatic healing I was expecting. I’m currently using my second tube because I want to give it a full, fair chance — knowing that scar treatments often take time — but based on my experience so far, I would say results are slow and minimal. Maybe it works better for newer or less severe scars, but for a burn injury like mine, it hasn’t performed as promised. Overall, it’s a decent product in terms of texture and ease of use, but for me personally, it didn’t live up to the hype. it's expensive for this size

I have been having auto immune issues and every single little cut it scarring and this has been happening for months. I didn't know how well this could work when my problem was my own immune system, but oh my gosh no QUESTION it works. on OOOOLLLD scars, on new scars, it works. I have been using it on scars that turned light brown and dark brown and yes, it DEFINITELY works. it's been a couple weeks and i don't think the scars will go completely away, but considering these scars were covering my legs and making wearing a dress more of a bio-hazard look than a sexy evening look, i am very pleased FIVE STARS, 10/10 recommend.

I bought this after my breast augmentation because it was recommended by my plastic surgeon to use at night. I tried silicone strips and silicone tape first, but I was allergic to them and they caused itching and irritation. This cream has not done that at all, which was a huge relief. It works better than using nothing, and so far I’ve been using it for about a month. It’s very easy to apply, has a light scent that isn’t overwhelming, and a little goes a long way. I just rub it directly onto the scar before bed. It’s not greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin. I obviously know scar care takes time, but based on the recommendation, ease of use, and the fact that I’ve had zero allergic reaction, I’m very happy with it so far. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
