Very easy to program and use
Great product but as a replacement for my original X-Core - setup and activation was super easy.

Easy self install
Had an older Hunter 8 zone controller that had 1 zone quit working. Tested valve- worked fine. Decided time for new controller. Purchased this 1 and installer myself (62 yr old female). Was very easy. I am mechanically inclined so I took the chance. Worked perfectly! I documented existing wiring and worked zone by zone. Very pleased! Sprinkler company quoted $500 for install of this exact model. Thanks but I will save the $400.

Just what I needed for sprinklers.

Bought this to replace an existing Hunter control that was originally installed when the house was built in 1992. Problem with the programming in it required a replacement. Stayed with Hunter because quality of the old system. Well pleased with the new control and the features that are built into it.
