Overall, this is a very sturdy and good ironing board. Stable, the frame is made from metal, so you can be sure it will serve you for years. On the other hand, the ironing holder part is slightly smaller than I expected. The usual Philips steamers don't fit on it. Maybe it was designed for smaller steamers, but definitely, it should have been designed for steamers, not for standard irons.

Zu meiner neuen Dampfbügelstation von Tefal suchte ich nun einen entsprechenden Bügeltisch und fand diesen in dem von Fa. Brabantia. Fazit vorab: bin von diesem Gerät mehr als überzeugt und kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Nachdem so eine Dampfbügelstation einen hohen Dampfkraftausstoß (5,5 Bar) besitzt, dachte ich natürlich sofort an meinen armen Parkettboden, der da voll unter Kondenswasser leiden müßte. Es gibt wirklich viele gute Angebote, doch der von Firma Brabantia ist ein wirklich durchdachter Bügeltisch und hat mich überzeugt. Diese Firma weiß was Frauen wünschen! Dieser Bügeltisch hat nämlich an der Unterseite einen geschlossen Boden und das Kondenswasser bleibt darin aufgefangen. Es befindet sich ferner darunter eine sogenannte "Aqua Bowl" und man kann am Ende der Bügeltätigkeit das Bügelbrett um 45° neigen und das Kondenwasser läuft daraufhin in diese Aqua Bowl, welche leicht entfernbar und zu entleeren ist. Somit endlich kein Kondenswasser mehr am Fußboden!!! Ferner ist der Bügeltisch sehr stabil und wackelt nicht hin und her. Die Abstellfläche für die Dampfstation ist versenkbar und dadurch ein angenehmes und leichtes Arbeiten gewährleistet. Einen kleinen Nachteil muß ich derzeit bei der Höhenverstellung für mich noch feststellen, der Hebel der dafür vorgesehen, ist mir für die Bedienung noch fremd (egal wie ich ziehe od. drücke ich schaffe es nicht). Das ist aber dzt. mein Problem, konnte mir aber helfen, in dem ich eben unter der Tischfläche den Höhenversteller von Hand drückte. Brabantia wird mir sicher dazu noch Hilfe geben, denn mit Kraftaufwendung möchte ich da nicht rangehen. Diesen Bügeltisch würde ich sicher wieder kaufen, bin von der Verarbeitung und im Gebrauch überzeugt,

A very solid and sturdy ironing board with a variety of heights to suit. From the moment you pick this up you can tell its a quality ironing board. The sturdy frame is made of the good stuff and should last a very long time if not a lifetime (well its guaranteed for 10 years). This was the second ironing board with the steam unit holder i bought so thought I would get this slightly more expensive item this time to see what the difference was. I must say this is much nicer, convenient and practical to use and no more drips of steam onto the floor, dry floor Yipee Yipee, The board surface area is excellent giving a generous amount of ironing space to use. This coupled with the steam unit rest (which is ridged to stop irons dropping off) allows for hassle free ironing chores, allowing you to accomplish ironing tasks much easier and quicker. The supplied ironing cover is great and irons will simply glide over it without the usual friction of some other covers I have used, and really does help speed up the ironing process immensely. The height level of the board can be adjusted to a number of different settings, so accommodating different sitting or standing positions with ease.

È comodissimo. Essendo extra large è comodissimo per stirare panni di grosse dimensioni come ad es. lenzuola, salviettoni etc. Se pur di grandi dimensioni è molto pratico in quanto basta tirare la levetta posta sotto e l'asse scende fino ad incastrarsi con gli appositi ganci. A questo punto lo si può riporre anche in verticale ad es. in un armadio.

Che dire? Ottimo asse da stiro. Mi sono fidata del marchio Brabantia ho altri articoli e tutti di qualità. Il mio problema era quello del gocciolamento continuo che inevitabilmente si crea quando si stira con ferri a vapore, io sotto l’asse ci mettevo un tappeto, ma con il sistema della botticella che si riempie della condensa accumulata ho piacevolmente risolto. Che soddisfazione quando si svuota la botticella!! Inoltre è grande, solido ed esteticamente piacevole. Unico neo: è un po’ pesante. Lo ricomprerei e lo consiglio.
