These sound great!
I installed these into a hollow body Jay Turser (LP copy) and it was a very difficult installation. It would be VERY easy to install on any other guitar, however, so don't let my experienced difficulty dissuade you - I don't believe there could be a more PITA installation situation than on my axe, so carry on knowing you have it easy. Unless you have a hollow body - then breathe deeply and center yourself... Zen is coming for your ass. The arch of the pickup trim didn't match my profile so it was easier to use the old trims. I broke a solder joint with one last pot to install on the first go-round, so I had to pull it all out and resolder two wires and reinstall it all, again... but being such a pain to install on my guitar, I probably broke them with my abuse - I'll own that. A wiring diagram would have been helpful, tho. I had replaced one of the stock Jay Turser pickups with a Seymour Duncan a long time ago, which sounded good (much better than the stock crap in there), but these both sound great through my twin and my old champ... the push pots don't add anything but noise, but the straight up tone I can get from the volume/tone knobs on either pickup makes me pretty happy. I am very glad I did this, even though my guitar made me suffer mightily for it... it was a definite upgrade in sound.

Sound great. Easy installation

Good deal.
These are great for the money. They sound good. However, I doubt they're really epis at this price. But for the price for the package they're great. They are really wax-potted if your wondering. They're clean sounding and I have no issues with the pots being crackely or anything. Be aware tho you didn't get real independent volume control for each pickup unless you wanna move a few wires. The coil tapping works great and the switches feel nice and smooth. So again for $75 you're getting a bargain on a whole package ready to install. They're good quality, I doubt they're authentic tho. I could be wrong, but that doesn't matter to me if they work

start sounding like a pro
All I can say is wow! I didn't know how good I actually could sound. My used Peavey Vypyr 15 Watt Modeling Electric Guitar Amp has opened a whole new world of palettes. Very simple to install, I only had to open up one area where the pickup selector is because the plug was slightly too big. I used a long scredriver and just hit the route a few times and it popped through. Super nice if you can get one of these, you won't regret it.

Incredible for the money
Big sound for the money. Neck pickup is a little muddy initially but after adjusting pickup height and EQ settings (pulling back on low ends a little), these sound fantastic and even (not muddy and not too bright). I’m amazed that these are really good quality at this price. And to have the whole kit assembled already??? Amazing. I installed into a ‘78-9 Hondo II LP style guitar. I also soldered the ground from the bridge onto the back of one of the tone pots. It was easy to do (my first time soldering anything). They are a bit fragile I guess, as one wire broke off a solder joint from the volume pot as I was moving wires around, but not a big deal to solder back on.

Easy installation, excellent sound
Picked up a used epi lester because it played real nice, but the bridge pickup was a bit lifeless. Got these, and wow, what a difference. Sound fantastic and the coil split is a nice addition. The hardest part of the installation was getting the pickups in the frames, and fighting with those springs. I've never swapped parts on a guitar before, but with the solder-less connections it was a breeze. The only connection that needed solder was the ground wire. My only complaint was no instructions, it wasn't that hard to figure out, but instructions would have saved me some trial and error, a simple mistake, and about 15 minutes. I'll take 1/2 star away for that, so call it 4 1/2 stars.

Full sounding to me.
Easy connections. Solder free. Good full sound. Zero complaints. Gear snobs will find a way to say that they suck anyway.
