Seller- Please can you advise of the sell by date please- generally speaking (I know different batches will have different dates)?

I used this for months in the UK. What is the shelf life if it is refrigerated?

I ordered mine in 2017 and the “use by” date was Jan 2020. I’ve had it refrigerated since I opened it several months ago, ate some with lunch today (29 Sep 2020) and it was absolutely fine 🤣

Like others I find the sell by date confusing, is it month, day, year or day, month, year? Why don’t companies use day numbers exceeding 12.

In the uk the date is written like this- . my birthday for example- 21/3/1972. So the 21st day of the 3rd month in the year 1972. Kinda makes sense as it’s going days/months/years. Lowest to highest (kinda). Anyway that is the way they write it in the Heinz bottles.

Can this be used on spotted duck?

This is as the name implies a salad dressing. I am not familiar with spotted duck. However I would not use it on spotted dick! I would use custard on that.
