Used this to remove ear wax. The urgent care used this so I took a picture and ordered myself one for my adult son. My husband had ear wax build up and needed help. Went to Urgent care. The soft wax removal drops were not working by themselves. My son had the same problem. Instead of having to spend the money for urgent care for him, I bought this instead. Warm water and 3% peroxide worked. Cup is great to catch water from flushing the ear.

This product worked like MAGIC. I never review anything, but I want every desperate soul who comes across this listing after a week of hearing out of only one side of their head to know that this worked like a charm for me, when all else failed (different kinds of drops, a hand squeeze bulb, valsalva maneuver, putting my ear under the shower for 15 minutes...). I was leery of alternative products that had electric pumps or that blasted the eardrum directly with a jet of water, as that seemed risky. The split-stream, hand-pumped method of this product worked perfectly, as it allowed for high pressure water to enter the ear canal but not crash point-blank into the sensitive eardrum. I also liked that it was produced by an American company and not some random foreign untraceable product. I couldn't believe how much gunk came out in a matter of seconds (which the helpfully included basin nicely collected). Like, JESUS. While everything else I tried had barely dislodged anything, in mere moments this genius device had painlessly unleashed an avalanche of nastiness that left me hearing perfectly again. I can't believe I put up with this for over a week. Never again! This thing has a permanent place of honor under my sink.

So I’m an excessive wax producer. I have to go to urgent care every 4-6 months, pay a co-payment, and wait at least an hour (if I’m lucky) for my ears to be irrigated. I’ve experienced every type of irrigation from the slow and painful to the slow and effective. Last time though, the guy used this identical kit! I took a photo just so I could find the same one. My left ear has been plugged in for about a week however I didn’t wanna go back to the doctor to get it irrigated as I didn’t want to take time off from work without trying to unplug it on my own! I ordered this because the reviews were so positive but I knew my ear was really clogged so I wasn’t sure if this would work. I did put some eardrops to try and loosen up the wax in about four days prior to trying this product- I’ve read that can make this more effective. This only took about 15 minutes to get the lodged wax out of my ear- I did it on my own but since it was my left ear it was a little bit awkward so I had my husband do it and he was able to successfully get all of the built-up earwax out! This is definitely worth the money and I am so happy I gave it a chance!
