I have bought just about every keychain EDC out there. My favorite was The L Squirt. Overall good and the file was its best feature. But L doesn’t make it anymore. . The G Dime was very disappointing. The only good thing on it was the bottle opener. The file was a joke. And it was a standard passable unit. I tried the NextTool MiniSailor which was a little heavy and was also passable. And the SOG PowerPint. Again, all of these just passable with the Squirt my favorite but with the usual limitation. Screwdrivers varied and had their weaknesses. And the scissors were pretty weak on most. All too short. I was looking around and came across this NextTool Pro and I’m so happy I did! My needs are a good blade, scissors and file. The scissors on this tool are the best of all the keychain models and better than some of my full-size EDC tools. Although the L Wave has a good pair. The scissors on this model are just exceptional and the long handles and long scissors cut through card stock and zip ties with ease. Also a big plus is the screwdrivers, file and the blade are much longer than all the other models. Makes working with them a lot easier. And be careful cuz this blade is really sharp. This is by far the best keychain EDC out there. Yes, it’s a bit more bulky than any of the others mentioned, but it has so many exceptional features that I’ll keep in my 5th pocket on my jeans and shorts. I am so happy I kept looking around. This keychain EDC is the best of the bunch far surpassing the others mentioned. It’s worth every bit even though it is just a bit more bulky. But not enough for me to keep in my pocket, even my gym shorts everyday.

I've had this little multi-tool for about a month now and I've had no issues... None... Works great, looks great and folds out to be a lot bigger and useful then it looks. The scissors are really good and actually comfortable to use unlike smaller scissors in bigger tools but still compact when folded in. I've opened packages with the knife and really like the style of the blade. Still haven't use the plyers mostly because what can you really do with them..? but in a pinch I'm sure they would come in clutch. They seem to be pretty tough for what they are but I haven't came across a time In need..not yet. I won't put my life on them but I'd rather have them as an option then not.. overall very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this little multi-tool..just keep in mind the tool is not heavy duty and I'm positive it wasn't meant to be..

5/5 Rating This Nextool key chain Multi-tool is everything I thought it would be. Super functional and compact. It's a 10 in 1 which means it can serve almost any immediate use you need. Comes with scissors, knife, nail file, pliers, needle nose pliers, wire cut / stripper, can opener, bottle opener, flat head screwdriver, philips screw driver. Whatever your immediate needs are this thing can handle it. I'm very impressed. the size is almost perfect. Can easily fit in your pocket and on your key chain. It will make your keychain look bulky though. I'm thinking I may have to carry in pocket as a standalone. Pros: No cheap materials. Well constructed. Only tool I've seen with descent quality plyers and scissors in the same tool. Blade takes a good edge. Can opener, file, and screwdriver work well. Cons: SMALL - too small for anything substantial. Can only get 2 fingers around grips. Cutting a cardboard box would be okay but I wouldn't try making a feather stick with it. 2025-04-10: Manufacturer contacted me and offered a refund. Unexpected gesture, shows they stand behind their products. Just to be clear, the tool is useful, just not for larger projects. I will keep it. Adding one star for outstanding customer service. BTW: I have since found they make a larger model that will likely fit the bill for heavier tasks. Based on my experience so far, I will order it too. 2025-04-14: Used it several times over the weekend for EDC type tasks. Turned out to be a little more helpful than I would have first imagined. Adding one more star.

Very well designed and compact multi-tool. Scissors are excellent as are the pliers. Nice to have both in one tool. The knife blade is sharp and looks to be durable. The other tools are as you would expect, screwdrivers and can opener. I think I'd rather have this on a lanyard than a key chain but that's a personal preference.

I bought this little multi tool in July 2025. It is far exceeded my expectations. It is a well made, well designed tool. It’s small and unobtrusive. You forget it’s in your pocket but it’s so handy for things you encounter everyday. The scissors are fantastic as well as the pliers. The only thing that could make it better would be an upgrade to the blade steel. I plan on buying some for gifts. You won’t regret having this small tool hidden away in your pocket. I carry mine every day.

This is about the NexTool Mini-Flagship. It is a nice design with a good selection of tools. The file is close to useless as a file, but with some minor modifying the tip can be sharpened into a small glasses screwdriver. The sheeps-foot knife is a good knife style choice but was extremely dull. The screwdriver is a decent length and seems strong enough for moderate use. (most folks know, these small tools aren't meant for heavy duty work). The cutting edge of Can Opener is dull and should be angled to make it more efficient and usefull. The Bottle opener opens bottles. It would be useful to integrate a screwdriver on the tip of the Can/Bottle Opener. The scissors are a good size, considering the overall tool size, they're not puny like on some brand name multi-tools. They were also straight and sharp enough to clean cut paper anywhere along their cutting edge. The needle-nose pliers are also a decent size and strong as other name brand mini multi-tools. The jaw alignment was near perfect and exact enough to extract needles of a prickly pear from fingertips. The wire cutters of the pliers seem to be durable enough to cut 14 gage copper wire or smaller. Tool Arrangement: the file and screwdriver locations should be swapped with the knife and can/bottle opener. To make this multi-tool a good value the price should be $5-$7 less because of concerns about durability and quality. Maybe a leather tool company will someday make a quality multi-tool of this design.

It has a solid build, bit heavy, but expected due to the solid materials used. Scissors work well and is definitely useful for cutting through thicker materials even my Swiss army and leatherman multitool scissors have hard time cutting through. However, really thin and delicate materials such as synthetically coated plastic bags were a bit more challenging to cut through, due to the thin material just wedging in between the scissor blades, rather than shearing through it. When you hold the flimsy material taught on both ends, the scissor cuts right through without an issue. I found the scissor more useful than not and is larger than the ones that come with even many full sized multitools. The plier is also well made and useful, though not nearly the size you'll get from a full size multitool. The knife blade is sharp and cuts well, as is the can and bottle opener. Haven't tried the file yet. The flat phillip's screwdriver works surprisingly well. I used it to tighten my loose door handle. Unfortunately, the coating was mildly marred after that short use at the tip of the screwdriver. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. It retained its factory shape after use and that's what matters. I used a star screwdriver to remove the knife blade, so I could take it with me on my flights. I fly twice a month, and through several trips at various airports, I had been stopped only once at the security checkpoint for further inspection. After opening every tool on it, and seeing no knife blade in it, they just gave me the ok to carry on my merry way. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. It permanently lives in my AER sling bag I carry with me on every flight I set on. I just use the blade on my scissor to improvise if and when I really need something to cut with. Though not nearly as useful as an actual knife blade. 2025 update: the scissor's cutting performance is about a third as it use to be after using it maybe once a month or so for the past couple years. Still works, but now I find myself having to put pressure on the handle in such a way as to push the cutting blades closer to each other while cutting. Otherwise, it fails to cut and the material being cut would simply bend in parallel between the scissor blades and would not cut. For the price, it's still a fantastic little tool to carry around. I take it with me through the airports at least twice a month and have no issue after having removed the knife blade.

Nextool’s Mini Flagship multi tool packs a lot of function into a small package. In comparison to its size, the pliers and scissors are big and feel sturdy. I won’t be using it for any heavy duty activities. Happy to have it as a great EDC. Thank you.

The scissors are sharp and useful, and the pliers work well. The tools seem to work pretty well, but the spring that semi-locks the blade open broke within 2 minutes of me opening the package. The blade just pivots freely and is almost impossible to access. UPDATE: The seller reached out quickly, and replaced it free of charge.

There is a little bit difficult to use the scissor because of it can not be flexible enough to choose the direction. But everything was amazed, I use them for everyday small works. Love the color, the design and materials. Happy with this order.

Wow! I am totally happy with this. You have a lot in a small package and everything works well. Perfect for my small edc pouch. It is not that cheap but it is all worth it!
