Knightsbridge SN8300 Standard Pull Cord Switch 2 Way 10A, 230 V, White-2W

I purchased this for use in my bathroom and needed a 2 way switch version for a change of light operation I intended to do. There has been a change in the rules about what and where you can do work in a bathroom, so you need to check that your project is in accordance with the rules. It was reliable and easy to install. The look and feel was good and fitted exactly where the old one was situated. You need to be competent to be able to fit this and of course the supply must be cut off. I am competent because I was trained in electricity and electronics for a living. You must have an electricity detector that gives a warning if there is electricity live in the circuit you are about to work on. They are reasonably cheap to buy and so you can make sure there is definitely no power present before you start work. I would not undertake this work if I had not been trained. I suggest you employ an electrician to fit this for safety if you are not competent.

I was not previously aware of Knightsbridge as a manufacturer and so did not know what to expect when I bought this switch. I am pleased to be able to report that it is a very well-made product. I would definitely be happy to buy this manufacturer's products in future.
