I’m not one for leaving feedback but I have to say this tool was fantastic, I changed batteries in 3 watches in less than 10 mins, when quoted at £40-£50 to get one battery changed in a professional shop (will not name them, but they also cut keys etc) it makes no sense when you can use this product and buy some batteries too, huge saving and done quickly.

Makes inspecting and changing battery very easy.

So bought this kit to unscrew the rear plate of my watch to change the battery. Thought rather than pay up the nose at a jewellers to do it, I'd buy the kit and do it myself. Come with an handy plastic watch holder to secure the watch whilst unscrewing the back cover. This worked really well and done the trick. Then you get the actual tool with 2 adjustable prongs which are used to fit in the little recesses in the rear plate. This worked perfectly once adjusted. There is another little tool almost like a small screwdriver. Not sure what it's for but handy for flicking the battery out. And a pair of cheap flimsy pointed tweezers which in my previous experience of these, they are pretty useless they tend to bend to easily. But not used these ones yet so could be pleasantly surprised. To sum it up: * This kit actually does what it's supposed to do. * Can be used to save you money that you would otherwise spend to get a jewellers to do exactly the same job. * It is made from cheap materials so when it comes to value for money and durability and how long it will last. It's hard to say. (This is why I gave 4 out of 5 stars) * Overall for the price and it's performance even if you get to change 5-10 watch batteries using this tool. You would have got your money back plus saved quite a bit as well. For me it's a no trainer.

Brilliant piece of kit. Did the job easily.

My local watchmaker has closed, looking around is eye watering, can’t believe what they charge. So looked at doing the battery change myself, really easy with this kit and after buying it it’ll be £1.75p every time I need to replace the battery. Very easy to use and remember to use the tweezers, so no grease on the battery and of you go.
