Umbrella Pole Light

works as expected, I like the versatility of being able to use it in different positions. It's a tad loose on my auto-tilt pole, but that can be fixed. It has a pressure loaded gripper inside the ring to allow it to fit different size poles. Bright light, of course, typical LED light. Our umbrella is a yellow/gold color so tonight I am going to try it facing the umbrella to see if it casts a golden light that way.it does require using all four batteries...I thought I could dim the light by using less batteries per chamber, but the chambers aren't real chambers apparently. There is an on/off switch, and a latch that allows it to go around the pole.I think I will get one for my brother who just updated his yard and has a new umbrella.

Bright, works well and lights up the new umbrella. A better quality Chinese product. Easy to open and close and the switch works well. Point it up for indirect lighting or point it down for more illumination. It also comes with an accessory so you can hang it with a string in a tent, etc. Great use for LEDs. Perfect for sitting outdoors under the patio umbrella sipping a whisky and watching the stars. Get one...you'll like it.The bugs seem not to care for the LED light wavelength...no bugs when the light is on.

Love the convenience of this light on the umbrella pole. It does not stay centered on pole based on the adjustable pieces (not sure what they are called?), but it works fine and stays where placed on pole. For the cost, it is a good deal. Led lights are bright and does the job of lighting under the umbrella. Would buy it again!

The media could not be loaded.  I just love how easy it is to install and how bright they are I put mine up in between the umbrella strands for more light coverage but they are great I love them

I'd be happy to give this 5 stars because it's a really nice and super bright light. Mine came with an adapter so you could hang it inside your tent.Reason for the 3 stars. When mine arrived, June 2016, I unboxed it and put the required 4 AA batteries in it and tried to turn it on. The on button wouldn't stay on and one of the 4 panels of lights didn't come on. Since I only paid $5.75 with free shipping, I wasn't in the mood to return it. So I got out my screwdriver and opened the dead panel and found a broken wire. Got out the solder gun and reconnected it. It works! Super bright light made spots in my eyes. But what to do about the on button that wouldn't stay on unless you held the button down? I thought about taping it down. Maybe a big rubber band. I decided the best thing to do was put a working switch in it. Out comes my soldering gun again and I used an old switch I had. I finally had a great working umbrella/camping light.I highly recommend the light, provided it's not broken.

I recently bought one 'used' as it was $9.00 less, but the only 'used' part is I was told the original packaging is torn. Just 4 AA batteries and you have all the light you really need. Mine did not quite hug the pole as well as I would like, but that can be fixed with just a small piece of Velcro. So I placed it above the rungs so it would not be able to move at all. Perfect! As others have noted, you can turn it so the lights face up to the top of the umbrella to have a softer look. So easy to snap apart then snap back together. You can leave it on the pole when the umbrella is down, but I have been taking mine off when there are possible storms/rain just in case water gets inside the battery compartment. For the price, you can't do any better. I do recommend this product.

What a joke! I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Arrived on time, however, after installing the 4 "AA" batteries, only 1/4 of the LED lights worked. Good idea, though cheaply made. Unfortunately, for the price, it's not even worth my time to return. Also, to add insult to injury, within the 4 days of purchasing, receiving and attempting to use.... the price was reduced $3-4. HA!

Wasn't sure what to expect with the price so low. These are awesome. We used them camping in the table tent and could play cards easily without the noise of the lantern. Another benefit was when the power went out. We hooked them up in the bathroom and was able to turn them on and off. They really put out the light.
