Been working great on my bmw m3 for months

The ballast fits perfectly and the car's headlights are working once again. The braided metal connector needs to be pushed in all the way, the OEM one needs to be firmly pushed in all the way and so will this aftermarket unit. The labels give plenty of suggestions, make sure your headlights is not leaking water(usually the main reason for the ballast to fail in the first place) So far it's worked great on the e92 M3, I will update if it fail prematurely. The support from the seller is exceptional and I suspect I should have no problem asking for a replacement if it fails in the near future.

Hello everyone if you’re looking for a real review here it is ! I was searching up and down the internet for a ballast for my 09 bmw 328i and couldn’t find any reasonable price one with any reviews unless it was $200 and up . So we gave this one a try because our oem one got full of water. Make a long story short it fit perfectly no issues and worked the first time. For the price it’s a steal and I will continue to purchase form this seller in the future. So don’t be afraid of a “cheap” ballast it worked for me and was well packaged and shipped. I have had it on for about 3 months and have had no problems! The only reason I’m posting a review is to help others just pull the trigger and save them $$ on the oem or autozone brands that are quadruple the price !

I have 2010 BMW 650i. I took the car to BMW to get it serviced and they told me the part would cost $800 plus labor. Therefore, looked for the part online. I was scared at first because this part was so much cheaper. I ordered the part and had it installed. It worked for a couple of minutes and went out. I returned it and got another one. It works just fine. Even though the first part went out, it was worth not paying $800. I would most definitely buy again.

Install was a breeze and the ballast worked amazing with no problems at all. It does not come with the gaskets but your expectations should not be high for a $50 ballast. Competitors have them listed for TEN TIMES the price! Completely worth the purchase, I would buy again and recommend to anyone. If you need one, this is a no brainer as it comes with a warranty. Customer service is AWESOME as well as I unfortunately ran into an issue that they walked me through with ease. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Sorry to say, I took a chance on one of these, and mine arrived DOA. I first installed it in a working headlight assembly in my 2008 pre-LCI E92 BMW, and the bulb just flickered feebly. Naturally, the same result in the headlight I was trying to fix. My advice: This is a part that is $500 new OEM from BMW. The chinese are not going to be able to manufacture it new and sell it for $60 and have it be as good as the original. Your best bet, go on the infamous auction site, weed through the new chinese knockoffs that proliferate, and find a used OEM part that is known to be working. It will be more expensive than these cheap copies, but you will have a working headlight. BTW these units were installed on Cadillacs as well as BMW, same part. Got my used OEM unit and installed it. Everything just worked like it should. Update: Got a nice note from Customer Service with suggestions on troubleshooting. Update 2: The folks at Genuine Xenon, on their own volition and expense, sent me a new unit. I think that speaks volumes for their integrity and desire to do right by their customers, and I applaud them for this. Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the energy to take everything apart again to test this unit when I now have a working headlight. And I have to stand by what I said regarding the likelihood that these units are in the same league quality-wise as the OEM ones. But who knows, YMMV, and the customer service at Genuine Xenon is great. Here is a picture of what the real one looks like.

Perfect replacement for the factory ballasts in my euro cars. I've bought 4 over the years and finally had one fail that was purchased in 2019. Reached out to the seller and they had a replacement on it's way quickly.

Works very well, I recently bought a 2nd one since my other ballast went out but i had bought 1 some time ago for my right ballast and ive never had an issue since installation, would recommend!

Cant beat it for the price. Lights worked well and much cheaper than BMW wanted for the same thing.
