Not spill proof this would be best to put on a couch to maybe reduce pet hair. But I dont believe it durable enough to liquid to sit on it over night. I have a disabled son who is wheelchair bound and I have yet to find something that doesnt end up seeping through and getting the mattress. I was hoping this would help. I have another i bought from a different seller and it was smaller and it shifted too much. So wanted one that would fit his bed. He doesnt have accidents often but they happen maybe 1-2x a month. He had one and I had the smaller ped even below this one in case and the pee went through. It did spread across at least but there the most was at it did get through. Will take it as a loss but will still use it till it cant be used or falls apart. Its annoying but it is what it is. Not buying any of these off amazon from any other seller. They all say water proof. Will have to look for a medical store that sells medical supplies and just pay the ridiculous expensive price for one that is a legit water proof bed cover.

I have found it to be very useful. I use it on my sofa bed to protect it from the pee from my dog.

These are absolutely a life saver when you have elderly parents to take care of. They wash and dry well.

My young dog has kidney issues and has accidents in her sleep. I purchased four of these. Two for my king size bed, and one for each of the two sofas. They have saved my mattress and my fabric on the sofas several times over. They have been washed and I hang outside to dry. Highly, highly recommend - you will not be disappointed!
