Compact, Reliable, and Perfect for Low-Profile Use
The SanDisk Cruzer Fit CZ33 16GB USB 2.0 Low-Profile Flash Drive (SDCZ33-016G-B35) is one of those small but mighty gadgets that does exactly what it’s supposed to. I’ve been using it for lightweight storage and media transfer, and it’s been solid and dependable. The low-profile design is the best part — it sits almost flush with the USB port, which makes it perfect for use in tight spaces, like in the back of a TV, inside a car stereo, or on devices where you don’t want a bulky USB sticking out. Despite being USB 2.0, transfer speeds are more than fine for documents, music, or smaller files. ✅ Pros: Ultra-compact design, almost invisible when plugged in Reliable performance with no disconnects or errors Great for car stereos, TVs, and media players SanDisk build quality — durable and trustworthy ❌ Cons: Limited storage size compared to today’s higher-capacity drives USB 2.0 speeds (fine for light use, but not ideal for huge files) 💡 Tips: If using in a car or media device, format it in FAT32 for maximum compatibility. Keep it dedicated for media or light storage — for large transfers, a faster USB 3.0 option may be better. Because it’s so small, consider attaching it to a keychain or lanyard when not in use to avoid losing it. Bottom Line: The SanDisk Cruzer Fit CZ33 16GB is a fantastic little low-profile flash drive. It’s discreet, reliable, and perfect for situations where space is tight. Not the biggest or fastest, but for what it’s designed to do, it’s excellent.

Worth Taking A Look At This One
This is a solid and reliable product. Here's why I gave this thing 5 stars: I travel at least 15 days per month. While out of town at a restaurant, thieves broke out the back glass of my SUV and took a backpack which included a laptop, iPad, flash drives, keys, chargers, Blackberry etc. My work and personal lives were in that bag so this experience prompted much research into secure file storage. I realize it was ignorant to leave a bag in an unattended vehicle but I felt comfortable because it was a bright sunny day, a popular restaurant with a very busy parking lot (with a security camera), the bag was hidden in the well behind the third row seat and the vehicle windows are the darkest legal tint for Texas. It was impossible to see the bag if peering through the any of the windows. My vehicle was the only one hit by the crooks so I asked the officer how they could possibly know my bag was in the vehicle. He schooled me on the fact that crooks are using a very inexpensive and widely marketed tool that locates wireless signals from any device actively talking to any type of wireless network. My bag contained a Blackberry that was talking over the wireless provider network (sending and receiving data). With pinpoint accuracy, they were 100% confident that some sort of wireless device was in my vehicle. As it turned out, they had a big day (as did the pawn shop and drug dealer I suppose). Dont think the trunk of a car is safe either. The crooks will simply break the driver side window, pop the trunk and they'll be gone in less than one minute. The point of this review is that it's of utmost importance to secure your files. I purchased this product because of the encrypted vault feature. If you can log onto a computer, you will be able to set up the security very easily. The security software is so very easy to use. Setup is extremely efficient and user friendly. Sure, you can use this SanDisk tool as a normal thumb drive without encryption and passord but they made the "Vault" so easy, why not use it? The negative aspect of this product is also the reason I use it. It's so small that it could easily be lost or misplaced. I really like the micro size of this thing because it does not protrude from the usb port. On the other hand, it's so small that it could be easily lost or misplaced. So... I found a small waterproof pill bottle that has a keychain attached to one end. When not in my computer, I store the drive in the bottle. If you are looking for mobility and security, this is a great tool.

Small but Mighty
I purchased the SanDisk Cruzer Fit 32GB several months ago after reading lots of reviews here on Amazon. Delivery was fast as usual. The first thing I noticed was just how small the device is (yes I read the reviews but it's still hard to get over the normal size of a "thumb drive" and think of this more as a "thumb nail drive" or even smaller). Seriously, look at the photo in the description comparing the drive to a dime. In terms of use the drive has worked great. It might not be the fastest out there although I haven't run any actual tests for transfer speed. I bought it because of it's size, storage capacity, and price point. I mainly use this drive to store movies and tv shows from my computer which I then play on my HDTV through the USB connection on the back. It works well and I am not too worried about losing it since it just goes back and forth between the computer and tv. If you are looking for something to take with you between the home and office or school that can store a lot of stuff and this small USB drive is appealing, I would recommend some kind of attachment loop or other device to help keep track of this little guy. It looks like there are some good options in the "What Others Bought" category just under the top of the page. Honestly, at this price I have thought about buying some other and attaching them all to the same key ring to create a very small, portable, and widely supported storage unit. I say widely supported because another great thing about USB drives in general is they are usually compatible with both PCs and Macs. I use both and have several external hard drives formatted for one or the other. That sometimes makes transferring files from the PC to Mac or vise versa difficult. This little guy solves that problem for all but the largest transfers. So in summary the small size might be an issue for some people as it can easily be lost but there are ways to overcome this and as long as you know that going in its a great product.

Nice, Tiny flash drive
These drives are VERY small and work well. They are designed to be left attached to a laptop or system and not get in the way, which they excel at. When I have one attached to my ultrabook, I barely notice it, and it can go in and out of the case without needing to be removed and without catching on the bag. For this purpose, I think they are excellent. The speed of the drive isn't amazing, I get approximately 15mb/s read and 4mb/s write, but impressive for the small size and sufficient for nearly all uses of a usb 2.0 flash drive. It does have an orange light that indicates usage. I have a love/hate relationship with this light. On one hand it seems nice to let you know it is active, and it is not a harsh color or brightness. On the other hand, if you use it in a dark room, it can be distracting. My only real gripe about the drive, and why I removed 1 star is that unless you leave it permanently attached to a system, kind of defeating the use of a flash drive, it is a royal pain to handle, and I find that a string lanyard of sorts is nearly a requirement. These are hard to get a good hold of to remove, and I often drop it. The tiny size that is such a pro when it is attached to the system, becomes a con when you have to look for it after it bounced off the floor and is hiding from you. I am sure there are uses for this drive that rarely if ever require it to be removed, but in my eyes, a flash drive is most handy to move files about, which requires removing and attaching between different systems (computers, stereos, microsystems, etc.), and with this usage, the drive is annoyingly difficult to handle. Yes, there is a hole for the near requisite (in my eyes) lanyard string. If these came with an easily removable (for those uses that don't require moving the drive around) string attached to them, or a slightly different designed head, I would happily give it 5 stars, but as they stand, I just can't give it a perfect rating. Would I recommend them to any who asked, yep, but I recommend you also pick up some fish line or thin string.

TARDIS of USB flash drives: bigger on the inside than on the outside
San Disk Cruzer Fit - 16GB I purchased this flash drive for 1 purpose and only 1 purpose: To store my MP3 songs so I can listen to them in my vehicles. One of them has a factory USB port, but it is in the center of the dashboard sticking straight back. With typical flash drives, there is about 2-3 inches of the flash drive sticking out. I find myself constantly hitting the flash drive when adjusting the HVAC controls or touching the radio controls. I can't always be careful since I am trying to pay attention to the road, and I fear that eventually I would damage the factory USB port. The other vehicle has an aftermarket head unit but the USB port sticks straight back into the passenger area, and I have the same issue. I found the Cruzer Fit to be the perfect size. It is essentially the USB connector with maybe 1/8" sticking out for the memory module and LED. It is TINY, about the same size as those nano transceivers used in modern wireless mice/keyboards. When inserted into the dashboard USB port, I can't hit the flash drive accidentally. I don't carry the flash drive on a keychain nor did I look for secure encryption. I just needed a quality flash drive that was as small as possible so I could use it in the car. I saw lots of reviews where users complained about the slow speed. I was writing at 4-6 MB/s (as reported by Windows 7), and it seemed to be "fast enough". My Patriot XT flash drives are much faster, at 8-9 MB/s. That said, 4-6 MB/s was fast enough to transfer my songs onto the 16GB drive without too much waiting. It is also interesting to see how huge a 4GB flash drive (Such as the Patriot XT or OCZ Rally) is compared to this 16GB flash drive. I'm almost afraid of swallowing the Cruzer Fit!! If I were to purchase a flash drive to carry around and transport important documents on a daily basis, I'd look at something else for durability, speed, and reliability. As it stands, the Cruzer Fit met all of my needs for an extremely compact flash drive to store songs for use in cars with USB ports. It's not the fastest, but it isn't the slowest of drives either. Overall: 5/5 stars, great price and respectable write speeds for such a small USB drive. I wouldn't recommend carrying it around as a keychain or for carrying important documents. It's so small that it could easily be lost or misplaced, or swallowed by infants or pets.

This is Excellent and Reliable for Portable Storage
This is excellent. It's reliable, small, quick, cool, and holds my files no problem. The convenient size and material assures it doesn't get knocked out of ports or bumped, which is a problem I have with sticks. I'm just a bit cautious when transporting so I don't lose it.

Set it and forget it but don't lose it.
This USB is great for having music in your car. Upload the songs to this flash drive and then you don't have to worry about removing it in and out since it's very tiny. If you hook it to your laptop, it's hardly visible. It's hard to damage tiny drive such as this because it's not a long stick where you can just bump into it and it snap out of your laptop or worse, breaks. The main concern for this product is that it will likely disappear on you if you're not careful where you left your things. So the best use for it is on something you don't often remove it from. That way it won't get lost and can fool a naked eye. I had it in my car stereo no one notice it's a flash drive. Here are some suggesting for going with this flash drive or a standard size. Reasons for owning this drive. Store it for fun things like music, photos, video clip, or things you want to share with others. Buy the 8GB or 16GB version so you don't have to stored too many things in one place. If you needed a bigger space, get a portable hard drive. Flash drive isn't meant for large storage due to the slow speed. You wouldn't want to upload HD contents because it will take you longer then you would expect. If you want it for storing songs for your car, the smaller the size the better. Reason is your stereo play have limitation to number of folder and size. It make no sense have large space when you're stereo cannot handle it. Small files will do nicely on this kind of drive. Reasons you shouldn't buy it. If you're planning on storing sensitive data, I highly recommend you to look for something that's hard to lose or have a very strong attachment to your keys or other belongings you often carry with you. If you lose this drive, the chance of you finding it is slim to none in public places. The price is great for a tiny device like this. It's very useful base on the size and what you want to use it for.

Amazing Size USB Drive
This is the most unbelievable drive. I just removed my hard drive from my car that I had attached to my sync radio and downloaded all of the over 6,000 songs to the USB thumb drive. It is formatted in FAT32. I Plugged the 32 gig thumb drive into the USB slot in the car and the songs were there almost instantly. It took less than a minute to index the songs and I was playing them almost immediately. Now I do not have to have a hard drive setting there with wires hanging out not to mention no motors spinning in the drive. It is crazy and the only problem with this drive is that it is so small that if you do not have it plugged into something you can loose it but that is not a problem. It is barely a bump on my dash now. I love this thing. As with any drive this size it took about 1 hour to transfer the 6,000 + songs to the thumb drive but it worked flawlessly. I have had good luck with other SanDisk memory devices and am glad I found this one. It is truly an amazing thing. Maybe the only negative is that the metal eyelet is a little small and hard to get things through but I am going to buy a stainless steel fishing leader with a swivel on it and I am sure it will go through so I can attach it to something. Like I said this thing is so small you could loose it but think of the possibilities of saving important data and saving it. You can hide this thing in plain site and no one would be the wiser. It is actually smaller than a Blue Tooth transceiver. I am buying another one right now for other uses I have. I give this drive a 5 star ++++++

Nifty little thing
I had earlier purchased the Sandisk Ultra Fit for use with my car stereo. I have been unable to get it to work with my car stereo. Works well with my Smart TV though. Then I decided to give the Sandisk Cruzer Fit a try for the car stereo. This works like a charm. A great little pendrive especially to use in the car, as it does not stick out like a sore thumb like other pen drives. It has a little LED indicator light which is neat. Overall if you are looking for a low profile pendrive that you can keep plugged into your device at all times without it getting in your way. This is the one to go for, especially if you want it to be compatible with your car stereo. For faster speeds go for the SanDisk Ultra Fit.
