Impressive For the Price Point
Pros: These actually go as quiet as I want, a feature I've been seeking for years in sleep earbuds. They are soft and comfortable even when pressed against my firm, ergonomic pillow. They paired easily with my iPhone 13 mini. The controls are straight forward and I could feel the difference between the buttons. This is important because the bedroom is dark. The instruction booklet is easy to use and the guidance is understandable (not gibberish from a bad translation) and useful. The bluetooth remained connected to my phone. The battery sailed through 16 hours, which is another advantage of the collar. I do not mind the cords because they prevent losing an earbud. The collar prevented tangling. Re music, the sound was balanced across bass, mid-range and treble and had no distortions or tinniness. It sounded really good for $29. Cons: These do not come with various-sized tips. While they are comfortable, the left bud did not stay seated because that side is narrower than the right in my small ears. It does not come with a dedicated app with white noise and alarm settings, which is no surprise at this price point. For $29 including tax, they have the best dynamic range for volume, voices and music sounded crisp and undistorted, and they were comfortable. October 2, 2024: The battery is lasting 24 hours (3 nights' rest). Both earbuds continue to transmit sound, they remain the most comfortable earbuds I've ever used for side-sleepers like me. They also are mildly sound-blocking (from their shape not because they are noise cancelling), a plus because my spouse snores. Two thumbs up! April 12. 2026: I'm still using these earbuds. I wish I could rate them 10 stars for comfort, durability, ease of use and sound quality. In terms of sound quality, I paid $29 with tax and my expectations matched the cost and are fine for a product I use when unconscious.

My favorite without a doubt, and STELLAR customer service.
I received no special consideration in exchange for this review, unless you want to call the stellar customer service a special benefit. Without question, this is the MOST comfortable and functional set of headphone/earbuds I've purchased. 1. The extended battery life is due to battery storage in the neckband, which is attached to the earbuds with a generous length of cable. I haven't EVER run the battery out. 2. Said cables are PLENTY long, so that there isn't a constant stress of tension, pulling on the earbuds. 3. The neckband is lightweight and flexible; you may have to touch it to reassure yourself it's there. It cannot possibly pinch your neck or head, unless you are an elephant; GREAT for humans. 4. I'd guess the entire apparatus was designed with comfort in mind. The earbuds are quite soft, and thus comfortable; I had no issue with inserting them. 5. As the picture shows, the control pack is a part of the neckband designated 'R'. Since one of my adult children is a lefty, I tried reversing by putting on the unit upside down, and had ZERO problems. 6. Where I did have problems: a. The charging plug on my first purchase became defective during the 30 day Amazon terms, and a second unit was shipped immediately at no cost. b. The sound on the second unit became distorted AFTER the 30 day Amazon trial. However, when I contacted the company, they drop-shipped a third unit with no hassle, and again, no cost. 7. I was shocked by the speed and courtesy that they responded to my out-of-date inquiry. I had expected that I was just going to have to absorb the cost of the second unit, but that was not the case at all. 8. The packaging is excellent, without excess material beyond that necessary for safe shipping. In addition to the unit itself, a nice, LARGE and durable-appearing velvet drawstring bag is included. 9. I suffer from insomnia, and have found that listening to semi-boring podcasts helps me get to sleep. Previously purchased headsets have interfered with my sleep, due to hard material, or slippage. These function almost invisibly, and I can have Johnny Dollar or Sam Spade lull me to sleep each night. 10. During the day, I can listen to music, audible books, or podcasts while doing other things. I would HAPPILY recommend this to friends and family.

What happened to the great pair with easy controls that work?!
I am a HUGE supporter of these headphones and got a flipping fantastic pair xs a million (kinda read full review to understand) of these and the last 2 orders I have gotten different headphones than the originals. 1 pair is by I’m assuming like a sister company name?? (Which I have also purchased from knowingly prior to the last 2 pair. Company name is GOOJODOQ which I will praise for the actual sleeping and not hurting part of the headphones but after receiving a pair that is labeled Hearprotek I realized the “branded with the name Hearprotek” are a far better fit for me and last way longer both in quality and working length status. They also are wayyyy better at cutting out sound around you like AMAZING and if you like me have a super loud snoring husband beside you they are priceless 😂 When I ordered them again I got a pair branded and labeled Hearprotek (again fit is AMAZING for side sleeping…like AMAZING!! BUT….) but they are different like VERY different. The fit is more similar to the branded GOOJODOQ but kinda in between yet still comfortable. The PROBLEM is they are identical as far as description, pictures etc at least when I purchased them…are NOT the same. The controls are on the actual part that goes around your neck not in the middle of the cord that hangs down with the earpiece on the end. #1 I can’t stand this setup because when worn around the neck and sleeping it’s too easy to hit a button when on the actual neck band verses on the wired part that is not usually underneath you and further down from your neck. AND on top of that the controls are absolutely awful and the directions even worse 🤦♀️ I still have yet to figure out how to turn them off without legit plugging them in to charge which is inconvenient as crap. It took me 10 million tries to answer a call and even then it still wigs out and hangs up on people all the time when trying to answer a call. Also what the heck is music Vs game mode. Idk why this is even an option first off but even if you’re someone who understands this and uses it they sound no different trust me my husband helped me try it all. I’m a gamer but he’s the hardcore gamer and still couldn’t tell the difference. NOT a fan of the “GOOJODOQ branded sets” (said with the disclaimer if this is the only choice I’d still buy them because they are comfortable for side sleeping and if you know you know Lol!) because they just don’t last as long (more on that in a moment) as the “Hearprotek branded sets” but also because they don’t fit me as well personally ear wise as the Hearprotek and they aren’t as great at filtering out other sound around you. ___PLEASE Tell me how to purchase the “branded Hearprotek set” WITHOUT these horrible controls coupled with the placement of said controls!!! PLEASE IM BEGGING!!! Trust me I’ve ordered probably 15 sets no I’m not kidding in the last 4 years in a customer than cares and loves them for comfort sleeping. NOW IMPORTANT TIP!! BUY THE WARRANTY offered by Amazon!! They are not know for their longevity but that said I also am chronically disabled and have mine on 24/7 so if this is not you buy them I’m sure they will last A LOT longer…but still get the 2-3 year warranty Asurion offers. So to recap lots of positives and negatives in this review for me overall these “2 brands which have to be ultimately the same company” because of how I order them and what I receive are great and easy to work if you need a manufacture warranty replacement and to just add to the full picture Asurion is also super easy and great to work with. It’s literally $2-$4 buy the warranty trust me! So I really hate leaving 3 stars ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 because both brands are so comfortable for side sleeping but I just can’t rate this particular pair higher because the controls are horribly placed and ridiculous to try to work

Almost perfect sleep earphones, but left channel died almost immediately
I tried to find a way to contact Hearprotek directly so I didn't have to gripe about a dud pair of earphones publicly, but couldn't figure out a way to do it. So hopefully they'll read this and reach out to me. I'm on my second pair of their Bluetooth sleep earbuds. I really loved the first pair, but they eventually died after some accidentally rough treatment while cleaning (my fault, not theirs). So I ordered a replacement pair and was pleased to see that the design had improved a little bit. However, within two or three days, the left channel was crapping out overnight. It would work at bedtime (only after charging all day), and then by morning, only the right channel still worked. For the first few times, it worked again for a couple of nights -- now the left channel is dying every night. As I said, it seems to come back if I charge them, but the dwindling time the left channel works has me worried that it will be fully dead in a couple more nights. I love everything else about them, but my pair is clearly faulty -- if Hearprotek can get in touch with me and just replace these with ones that work, I'll gladly edit this review and bump it up to five stars. I loved my first pair and loved these new ones for the first couple of nights before they started to act weird. The sound is good -- I'm no sound expert, but I find it pretty immersive and definitely loud enough when I want that. There's not a ton of bass, but I wouldn't expect that from low-profile earbuds like these. And there's enough that my sleep apps' white noise sounds and other more synthesized sounds (for sleep or anxiety relief) seem more than full enough to do what they're supposed to do. They're VERY comfortable at night -- I (like everyone who reviews earbuds) have ears that are not earbud-friendly, so I have a hard time finding any that fit snugly, comfortably, and securely. These do all of that, and they're very small and soft so I can sleep easily on my side. My only complaint (and it's not really a complaint) is that they fit so well that any moisture left in my ear (after a shower, for example) combines with the soft rubber on the earbuds to create quite a remarkable seal in the ear canal such that, if I forget and pull them out too quickly, there is a brain-tugging "pop" and my mind empties completely. :) This is by no means a major complaint, though -- it's my fault for pulling carelessly at something that's designed to sit firmly in my ear canal, and it also creates a silence the rest of the time that is as complete as that from my more expensive noise-canceling earbuds. Overall, these are great earbuds, and REALLY great earbuds for the price -- if the left channel would work reliably! Hearprotek, please drop me a line and let's figure out how to replace these quickly, and I'll be very glad to write an addendum to this review. I do love these, I just wish they worked better right out of the box! Sounds like it's a common problem, though, and that some of us just got duds. I'm looking forward to editing this with good news about Hearprotek's response.

Works great until they don’t.
I have purchased these headphones many times because they are very comfortable for side sleeping. They have a long battery life and the Bluetooth connects easily. Unlike wireless buds, they don’t get lost or fall out when I sleep. They work great, until they don’t, typically within 6 months of buying them. They are a bit pricey for such a short lifespan, yet I again hoped for better with this newer model. Even with VERY careful care, these headphones predictably stopped working, just like all the others have. I've finally learned my lesson and am going to stop throwing money at these practally disposable headphones and find a different solution.

Very comfortable and stayed in ears all night!
The speaker part is much further down than it is on the other brands of sleep buds (goojodoq, maxrock, sicoo.) This makes them very squishy and soft so they fit much more comfortably. This does affect the sound quality a bit though. I had to readjust a couple times because they squished and bent over the sound part. But it was mostly fine. The shape and texture of the outside part was slightly different than the others as well, a bit softer, and more rounded, making it a little harder to tell by feel that they were in correctly, but since they were also more comfortable it was worth it. They are also much quieter than the other brands, usually I have to play with equalizer to get low enough volume to sleep comfortably, these I actually had to turn things up! So while great for sleeping, they might not be as good in a noisier environment, like a gym. I didn't test them with fancy music though, just a binaural sleep app and a video. It all sounded ok, but wasn't super crisp. Fine for slerping and the price point though. I fid not recieve any calls overnight, so I don't know yet it if works with do not disturb setting, or the diabetic alarm app. Nobody was screaming in my ear last night though. I'll update when those inevitably happen, and see how these handle it. Overall, I liked these. They were comfortable, lasted all night, stayed in, still connected even when I got up and went to the kitchen and sat in my livingroom for a bit, and were able to get quiet enough that I didn't have to use a third party fix.

Disposable but best for sleeping.
The good: they are the most comfortable earbuds for sleeping and battery life is the longest. The bad: they don’t last very long. Sound will go out in one ear or stop charging altogether after a while. Conclusion: I’ve just resigned myself to purchasing these about twice a year as nothing else is as comfortable or as long lasting of a charge.

Best Bluetooth Sleep Earbuds for Me!
I first bought these Bluetooth ear buds about 2 years ago. They were a perfect replacement for the kind I’d been using at night that had to be attached to the jack on my device. Very soft silicone that I can’t feel at all when sleeping on my side…my ears are smallish, but even though the earbuds appear the same size as others that start hurting after a while, these fit great! Calls sound good and battery life is strong…gets me through a whole night and more when fully charged. They connect easily to my devices (this type connects to two devices at once, but that’s rarely an issue). They do block out sound, but not completely. But with music or an audiobook going, I don’t hear street noise and other noises that can be disturbing during the night. I soon bought a second set and, for about 18 months, I slept in one every night recharging the one I’d used during the next day. If I was home during awake hours, these Hearprotek sleep earbuds were my go-to. They received very heavy use with no apparent issues until about 18 months of use. I consider them quite sturdy. The cost was much less than other types of sleep earbuds I tried and liked much less. After about 18 months, I lost sound in one ear in one of the sets. It still worked, so I continued to use it. A few months later sound was lost in one ear in the second, and I bought replacements. I keep these on hand in case they’re ever needed though. I’d have loved for them to last forever, I’m extremely happy with their performance. When I ordered to replace these, the updated style doesn’t connect to two devices. I highly recommend these for someone who listens to music, white or green noise, podcasts, audiobooks or anything while they sleep!
