Overall rating: 5/5 Full Review I bought this for my 55lb Black Mouth Cur. This is WAY "Overpowered" for her! Lol! In a good way! The unit has some weight to it so I don't think I'd want to walk more than a few miles with it honestly, especially in rough hiking terrain, but it's not too heavy – But significantly heavier than my 16ft retractable leash for small/medium size dogs. That being said, I would fully trust this leash to walk a 100+lb Mastiff or other massive dog breed. The case feels very solid and like it could be dragged half way across the country and only take a few scruffs. The leash itself feels high quality and reliable for walking powerful dogs that may want to pull or occasionally dart at rabbits like my babygirl. The length is generous and my dog was even able to go all the way to someone's front porch while I remained on the sidewalk. The great price and high quality cannot be overstated. I often find companies overpromise and under deliver. This company seems to know how to operate – Make an insane guarantee BUT actually deliver on it! I don't think I will ever need to buy a leash again... It feels like the 70's again when companies built products to last, not to fail and reel poor consumers back in for a "bargain" price.

Usually do not write a reviews. But this is an outstanding product. My dog is 80lb and when I take him for a bike ride, he runs around bike in 25ft radius in any direction. This is the ONLY retractile leash I can manage this activity with. For the last year it was taking a lot of abuse and still working. Finally it got stuck in a bike chain gears for good , So, I need to cut it. I just bought a new - it will arrive tomorrow, I hope it will be as durable as the old one.

I wanted a black Retractable Dog Leash to replace the turquoise one that I've had for a while (that I still really like), but wanted one that's a few feet longer. While I like the durability of it and how comfortable it feels in my hand, I have yet to master the locking feature with just my thumb and one hand. What continues to happen is that I allow it to get stretched out a good distance, but when I lock it and try to easily unlock it with just my thumb, I can't, so the leash is left loose on the ground until I use both hands to get it unlocked to retract it. It scares my dog and causes me a bit of a panic in situations that need immediacy. I've not returned it yet, but I am considering an exchange for something different.

Works well so far. I like the long length. Dog can run and get exercise with out running away.

The quality is good , but my biggest complaint is the locking mechanism, is really stupid and extremely hard to use

Good sturdy ribbon. Hills back my 85 pound Shepard if she lunges for squirrels on our walks.

This is the second one I bought because he chewed through the first. I did buy a metal extender with it this time to prevent it being chewed through again. I like how the button is in the plastic instead of sticking way up. It's super easy to lock and unlock (just make sure there is no tension on the leash). It's fairly lightweight. With the new leash extender it's doesn't retract as fast due to the weight on the end but it still works for me. Overall I'm happy with it and think it s a good value for your money.
