I got this because I wanted to have both my PS3 and PS4 in one shelf on my entertainment rack. Didn't want to just stack them on top of each other like some friends of mine do, heat kills electronics after all. With the PS3 slim on top and PS4 on bottom it leaves about 1 and 1/2" of space between top of the PS4 and the bottom of the vented shelf. The shelf itself is actually quite thin, what you can't see is that the bar that goes around comprising the legs and support is about 1/2" thick leaving a kind of rim at the front and side edges of the shelf. You may need something under whichever device you choose to sit on top to prevent sliding if you tend to push too hard to insert say the USB plug for a controller in the front, as the metal vented shelf is smooth, but not necessarily slippery. It would be just as easy to lightly hold the top of your game console, or whatever, when plugging a plug in the front also. I'm very happy I stumbled upon this, may give second shelf included as a gift.

I bought this to use either under or over my microwave and/or toaster oven, to stack small pans and cutting boards (which are almost always wet thanks to my husband). They worked GREAT, plenty sturdy enough for either small appliance. Then I had my countertops replaced and got a new microwave and so NOW I'm using one of these on the countertop ... gives me TWO layers for clutter.These are a wonderful and inexpensive solution ... great for organizing anywhere!

Items as describe, well made with a nice finish. Also very well packed. Note that I used these for gaming consoles and they fit between the legs and will work with the PS4 & PS3 also Xbox One, Xbox 360 & Xbox. You have only about 1/2" of clearance underneath with the large units, but if you have your units were they have proper ventilation air flow or you use a small fan like I do, then you shouldn't have ant problems. I use a small fan that is powered off a USB port to add circulation. Thanks !

This is actually my second set and I just love them. They are the perfect size and height to not take up all the desk space. They are so sturdy that I use one for a foot rest for a shorter person! They look nice and classy. Highy recommend!

My mother used to keep my TV at her house on one of these until I moved out on my own. Then I realized that the holes are helpful for ventilation purposes. I put my TVs and PlayStation on them (The PlayStation no longer overheats and if I put the TV on top of one then I can put a DVD player underneath).

I was stacking the cable reciever and DVD receiver one on top of the other. I used this monitor stand to separate the equipment, I put the cable receiver undereath the stand and the DVD player on the mesh shelf. It worked out perfect for me. It provided the right amount of space in between and allowed them to air and prevented heating up. The stand is solid well made.

I love this! I have two monitors on a glass topped desk and I didn't want to use a clamp. These are perfect and they have space under them for paper and other sundries!

Great product! Very sturdy, plenty of room for my large wireless ergo keyboard underneath one monitor. A great solution, allowing me to use my home office desk for other purposes on the weekend.

Great stand. Personally use them both stacked on top of each other (cabled tied) with my Xbox one and PS4 in between each to allow for ventilation.

I have recently moved from Virgin to Sky. The Sky Q box gets quite hot so I looked into ways of making it run a little cooler. This stand allows air to circulate around the Sky Q box and I've had NO issues with the box overheating.I also have space under the Sky Q box for another device.

Really nice solid design, gives a bit of extra storage on your desk and encourages much better posture.
