I have wasted money on hand truck wheels and have a large pile that will not hold air. This wheel fits perfectly and, so far, out performs all the others I have tried.

This wheel is round and allows things to roll around when properly (or improperly!) attached to an axle. It didn't fit my hand truck axle but that's my fault, not the wheel. I put it on there anyway and due to its round nature (and that of its bearings), it works fine for the one time per year that I use it. And, because of the use of rubber and metal together, it looks like a wheel. So when you spot it on its hand truck in the back corner of the garage, one cannot easily spot the difference between it and the original wheel that came on the hand truck. I recommend this wheel. Sure, there are others that would fit my hand truck better, but neither the wheel nor the hand truck care at this point - and neither do I!

Super fast delivery, and the tires are perfect. I needed exactly this type of tire to replace two flat tires on a hand truck that belonged to my late husband. These came in just a couple of days, and I was able to install them in about five minutes. The hardest part was a pin holding the old ones in. I had to use a tool to pull out the pin, but once I had that out, the new tires fit perfectly, I reused the same pins, and all is well. The only thing that might have been better is if these had come with new pins, but it worked out fine anyway. Regarding the smell, they just smell like new tires. Maybe it seems stronger if you open the box in the house (I did), but it's not a problem. And the tires fit perfectly on the axles.

Quality is there but takes 2 different size bearings

I purchased a pair of these wheels and tires to replace the original set of wheels and tires on my hand truck. I purchased the 5/8" axle diameter pair which fit perfectly and are actually better than the originals. I like that these came already inflated and with grease fittings to lubricate the bearings. The curved air valve is a great feature as well and makes it easy to add air to the tires. The only problem I encountered was with the split rings that hold the wheels on and keep them from slipping off the axle. They were rusted and snapped off. I took a few minutes to drill a hole in each end of the axle and inserted a cotter pin through the hole to secure the wheels and keep them from coming off. My hand truck is now better than it was when I purchased it. I would purchase these wheels again in a heartbeat! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! 👍

Easy install. Works great!

I have ordered maybe 100 or more of these over the last few years, We wear through them on our commercial blowers. The wheel and tire combo is an easier alternative instead of changing just the tire. They are solid, and I haven't had many issues with them. The last order the price went up significantly, said they would be delivered a couple days later, but took 1 month for delivery. That is unacceptable. If you're in a bind and need them quick, look elsewhere.
