Sony Style Cover Leather for Xperia PRO-I

Having needed a cover for the very expensive PRO i the genuine Sony was the only option for me. Not cheap at £70 but then for a phone at this price 70 quid is justified. It's real leather (as you would expect) and it has a nice Sony logo embossed on the back. It doesn't really add much size to the phone which is another reason I wanted it. In the real world it's most likely only going to offer protection from scuffs and scratches. So if you work in an office or something similar and it's only going to be placed on a desk etc this will be fine. Naturally if you need more protection than this for where you work you may want to see what else is on offer. But all in all very lovely and smart case.

It fits the unit nicely; it should it's Sony branded 😂 I just don't think it will be very durable and for £70 one would hope that it would be. I bought a kickstand style branded case for the smartphone it replaces and it's outlasted the device which it protected and cost a third of the price of this one. Unfortunately there seems to be very little choice of quality cases on the market for the Xperia Pro I which is a shame. ***Update*** The leather is so thin and weak that it's peeling away from the edges of the cover and I have had to apply some tape to stop getting sticky residue on my hands and clothes. One word RUBBISH. Sony need to get on and remanufacture and replace FOC.

This case has a great design, one of the best for this phone. It can easily be applied, and removed with no issue (with a lanyard in use). Access to all ports, buttons, sim tray are not covered, so are easy access. This case hasn’t fallen apart after a few days, like reviews would suggest. Seeing how it looks in other reviews, the leather is clearly very soft and will mark up easily if placed on hard surfaces. I have been using the small bag included with the Sony Bluetooth grip, which is a perfect size for this phone/case. Condition after 3 weeks is very good, picture included.

Looks pretty and is made of high quality leather. Hower for the price it's an absolute joke. £69 if it hadn't of came free with the phone I'd of been fuming. Very flimsy and doesn't have any protection down the two sides. Wouldn't trust it to be a protective case. Would be fine if it's just to show off the phone which I'd imagine isn't what most people are looking for when it comes to the price of the Pro-i, protection is key. As a free case with the phone it's acceptable. For anything else, don't waste your money

For a premium official Sony case, this has to be the worst I've ever seen! This is my SECOND case, the first one arrived scratched, this one has started to peel after only 2 weeks of use! I'm only pleased I got it free as part of the phone deal... £70 for this rubbish is disgusting. Sony needs to rethink the covering on this case and do a v2

Does exactly what it says on the tin

Leather started coming off within days. Such a shame as I love the design. Just the durability is terrible. I think it needs a product recall it's so bad.

This did come free with the 'phone but it isn't worth the cost. Other people reviewing it complained about the leather finish, the one I had was scratched when it came out of the box and bag within the box. Made the (already) large 'phone even bigger. As I didn't enjoy using the 'phone and returned it, I sent this back too, but I wasn't using it anyway as it was simply too bulky.

zum Schnäppchenpreis ist das in Ordnung, zum ursprünglichen VK ist abzuraten. Völlig überteuert. Die Abnutzung lässt nicht lange auf sich warten. Ich sehe das Cover eher als Gimmik, mehr nicht.

😱 À peine 24 heures d'utilisation acheté bien évidemment neuf, cet étui est vraiment une farce de haute qualité médiocre. 🔴 Une substance colle à vos doigts comme du simili-goudron, avec la chaleur il y a une mauvaise réaction chimique, c'est horrible ça colle partout. 🔴 Heureusement que j'ai payé cette étui que 38€ au lieu des 90€ actuellement , même cela est trop vu la qualité du produit. 😡 Je déconseille cet achat.

Beschichtung löst sich schon nach wenigen Tagen auf und wird klebrig. Lässt sich nicht reinigen da es das Material an sich ist, das klebt.
