I love this little wax pot. I bought it for home use. What i love about it is it comes with a refillable pot insert and it heats up quickly.

Metal lid, so it doesn’t crack over time
Get a metal lid. Overtime heat destroys a plastic one. This is built for longevity. Really well made.

Holds temperature well. Gets as hot as it claims.
I got this for heating hide glue in a water bath double boiler setup. It holds temperature within about 5 degrees of the dial. Accurate enough. It held quite steady at 65 degrees or so which is what I needed. I could crank it up to 75 degrees if I wanted to, even though that's a bit too hot. It did much better than one popular affordable competing model that does not get hot enough even though the dial claims it does.
