I was definitely skeptical at first. By the third time brushing my dog’s teeth I noticed a decrease in the amount of tartar on her teeth! I was truly shocked! She loves the taste (Vanilla Mint) which helps make it easier to brush her teeth. I would definitely recommend this product!

Awesome toothpaste! I like the consistency of the paste, smells good, and my dog is happy with the taste. I’ve been brushing with this toothpaste regularly over the last couple weeks and I successfully removed a large chunk of hardened tartar that has been coated on one of his large premolars for a long time. Other brands didn’t break it off like this toothpaste did, I couldn’t believe it. My Vet and I have discussed scheduling a professional dental cleaning, but my dog is senior and has cardiac disease, so the risk of anesthesia is high. I have been trying to keep his teeth as clean as possible at home. I am so happy with this toothpaste, and I’m optimistic that I could remove built-up plaque and tartar, keep his breath fresh, and eliminate the need to put him under general anesthesia for teeth cleaning. It has been working great in cleaning and whitening my dog’s teeth! I’m surprised how quickly it started to remove the plaque on his teeth.

This toothpaste works well and my Shih Tzu puppy loves it. My only concern is there’s no tamper proof seal. Unfortunately, I had to return the first tube I purchased because it appeared someone used it since there was some toothpaste on the opening and in the cap. The second tube was fine. However, there should be a tamper proof seal and/or the box should be sealed. That’s why I gave it four stars.

My dog loves this toothpaste. I started her on it when she was a young puppy. I don’t actually brush her teeth, she does. I just put the toothpaste on a three-sided dog toothbrush and she lick it off the brush then chews on the bristles. And of course by licking she is getting the toothpaste on her teeth. I make sure to get it down in the bristles so when she chews on the bristles she is cleaning her own teeth. When the bristles get too chewed up I just buy new toothbrushes on Amazon. I tried several times to brush her teeth the proper way but she wasn’t having it. Now I just let her do it herself, no sense in fighting her or her attitude. LOL. A year later and a few tubes of this toothpaste her teeth are still pearly white.I keep the toothpaste and toothbrush sitting on my end table and my dog begs, no whines, for it every day. She will paw at the end table until she gets her teeth brushed. She really likes the taste of it which I was surprised because of the mint. I can smell the mint and it’s not too strong. I have not tried the other flavors because my dog is very happy with this flavor.

This toothpaste is amazing. My cats mouth smelled like a cupcake 2 hours after brushing. I purchased the vanilla mint and so glad I did. Teeth are white and kitty is happy!

We had been using a peanut-butter flavored toothpaste recommended by our Vet, but our puppy just did not like the taste, and struggled each time we brushed her teeth. We decided to give this one a try, and what a difference! She actually likes the taste, and what was a nightmare, is now a much more enjoyable experience for us all.

I ordered vanilla mint flavor and been using it on my ShiMa, Maisy, for about 2 yrs now. This toothpaste works well in getting rid of tartar and it’s easy to use. Maisy is 8 yrs old with a few missing teeth in front top and bottom, vet said it’s a problem with the breed. She has her teeth cleaned professionally every 2 yrs. I used to brush her teeth once a week then every other day with a different toothpaste but tartar continued to build-up. So now I’ve been brushing her teeth everyday after her dinner with Virbac and I can see the difference. She has no bad breath, never did, and her teeth are cleaner—tartar was mostly on molars. She hides from me when it’s brushing teeth time, she seems to know when it’s time but she doesn’t really mind having it done once I catch her when she least expects me. Then she goes to the pantry where we keep the dental chew treat which she’s crazy about. The price is too steep for a 2.5oz tube but people—including me—will buy it for their beloved dog.
