This item pleasantly surprised me by including two batteries in the kit, a thoughtful addition that added to its overall value.The instruction manual proved to be straightforward, making the tool kit easy to use. I've successfully utilized it in two projects for reverse engineering, and it has performed admirably.The build quality is outstanding, exuding a solid and high-quality feel.No drawbacks encountered in my experience.Overall, exceeded my expectations.

It's great tool but a but small to read

tool is good, quite solid and seemingly repeatablely accurate.... the battery is a NIGHTMARE to replace though needing three small and nimble hands!

All of these inexpensive callipers seem like much of the same thing. These were one of the less expensive all metal ones and are nice and solid. The auto power on works very well and doesn't accidentally activate all the time like some of the reviews for other pairs seem to indicate. I use them for measuring a bunch of stuff, all mostly below 10mm, and they've functioned perfectly fine for that, including filament diameters for 3D printing.

It works as it should be. Just remember to replace the battery in the unit with the provided one.

Mostly metal parts. Should last a while, especially if stored in the case. Came with 3 batteries, but the installed one was DOA. Still a good deal.
