Tough material, what's needed for FJ40 lift kit
Installed Pro Comp 2.5" lift kit on my '71 FJ40. Installed new greaseable shackles. I had some left over new bushings (not from Pro Comp) for the top part of the front and rear shackle pins but they were apparently rubber of some sort and did not hold up for long. These ES Poly bushings are the right thing to do, They are tough and resilient and I do not anticipate any problems from here on out. The previous bushing were too soft and looked like they contorted and tore. The ES bushings did not distort and were easier to install also. Do not use anything but poly bushings on the top pins of the shackles.

Incomplete
Didn’t contain the lube packets described. I ordered two sets and one contained one didn’t. Gotta have the lube. I live in a rural area and it isn’t worth returning just annoying.
