Good Value Coin Box
An infuriating aspect of slabbed coins is that the two main TCG's ensure that their own boxes will not fit the other companies coins. I bought two expensive "Branded" boxes before finding this box that fits both sizes of slabs and at a far lower cost. If you stick with one grader that is not a problem but I tend to buy coins graded from every company as I like them so this was a great find.

I needed new boxes, and while the NGC boxes are great, they are much more expensive than these. Better quality, but more expensive. Considering that I do no traveling with my cases coins, and they basically sit where they are locked up, these truly are perfect as I find no reason to pay more money something that spends 98% of its life locked up. I had read a few reviews that stated the tops come off somewhat easily, which makes for nervous collectors and spilled coins. I had THE OPPOSITE opinion. The batch of boxes I ordered ALL close tightly and would not come apart unless I intentionally tried to open them. I was able to hold a filled box by the top, pick it up, and shake it (over my bed in the event of breakage) vigorously without any unintended opening. That said, I did not attempt dropping the box to the floor, ‘cause, why? I offered 5⭐️‘s across the board with the exception of ‘Sturdiness’, which I gave 4⭐️‘s. This could actually be an unfair grade, as the only reason I downgraded it is how the product feels in my hands. The plastic feels almost too hard, and brittle, as if the entire case would shatter if I dropped it. That is a test I do not need to perform, and it’s entirely possible that the box would not break and coins would remain safely inside their slots. In other words, I have no objective proof that this box is anything other than a sturdy plastic coin box…only a feeling in my hand. I LOVE that these holders will accept almost any holder. The old NGC fatty cases need to be squeezed in, but a standard slab from PCGS, NGC, or ANACS fits perfectly and without issue. The old PCGS boxes would not accept NGC slabs, and the prices of NGC boxes quickly get expensive when you need a multitude of them, so these boxes were the perfect solution. As of today, 12/15/22, I can unequivocally recommend these boxes as both a practical and economic solution for storing slabs. I ordered another couple today and will likely need a couple more by year’s end. At $10.99 w/ Prime, how can you go wrong?!?
