Ok, so... one of the things I hated about the Apple Pencil (First Gen) was that it is round and slick. It feels great when you are holding it, but when you set it down, unless you lock it in an Otterbox Case, it is GOING to roll away from you, and probably right off the table or desk where you are working. There is nothing stopping it from rolling away or bouncing off the floor. That is a horrible thought considering it is a $100 pencil. (I can't believe I even own it - but it is so choice for digital art... really it is.). The second biggest gripe I have is that it comes with a removable cap that houses the lightning connector (where the eraser on a regular pencil would be). I HATE plugging it into my iPad because that's just ASKING for distaster. The alternative is to use the small double female lightning cord adapter that allows you to charge it with a regular lightning cable and wall adapter. That means the cap is loose when charging, and the adapter is loose when not charging. Loose is one breath away from LOST. I KNEW I was going to lose one of these items sooner or later. The crowded pewter tray in the kitchen was never truly a good solution. Third, the tip is fragile. This wasn't a huge issue when the pencil was snug in my otterbox, but dropping it on its tip would no doubt be its end. Anyway - THIS brilliant little combo package solved ALL of those problems. It hugs the adapter to a designated cable, and it hugs the charger cap to the pencil. The tip is protected by a cap too (which is loose when the pencil is in use, but I have been okay with that. I wouldn't want it attached to the pencil anyway.) Due to the charging cap connection, the pencil no longer rolls away when put down. The point cap also has flat edges, so that also prevents rolling. The material is soft rubber that hugs well and is just right between being stiff enough and not too stiff. The ONLY downside is that the pencil no longer fits in my Otterbox Defender Case. (A pretty slick solution that got me this far). But I always carry the tablet in a small briefcase / bag anyway (I hate advertising "Hey look I have an iPad Pro") so I just throw the now protected pencil in alongside the iPad and we are good to go. Thanks for a sweet product. Really helps and it's a great concept. I love it and it will be on my stuff til it dies.

When I saw pictures of this on another site, I knew I had to have it. Naturally, the site linked to this listing for purchase information.. so I went ahead and bought it. I love this for a multitude of reasons. 1. I have the worst memory in the world. When I ordered it, I started looking for the box that Apple Pencil came in, because I had smartly kept the adapter (and extra tip) in the box. Long story short, I couldn't find it. The box was magically gone. Contacted Apple and they sent me replacements of the adapter (and an extra Pencil cap, at my request, just in case), and I immediately found the Pencil box I was looking for shortly after that (go figure). So, now I have extras! Anyway, the product is great because no matter what I do, I forgot things, and this will prevent me from losing the adapter. The cable always stays plugged in, so it won't be going anywhere. 2. It glows in the dark, though I believe there is a "non glowing" option available. I suffer from migraines and end up doing a lot of work in the dark, and though the pieces are small, they are actually illuminated surprisingly well. Good thinking from this company. 3. The pieces on these items fit really well. I was worried that they would be too loose, and just prolong the inevitable, but they actually fit very snugly. I am not at all afraid to lose anything anymore, as I know these two items will keep track of my stuff for me. This is the best accessory that I have purchased for my iPad Pro and Pencil. What a fantastic idea, and it was executed very well.

NOTE: I have never received anything of value for a review and I paid full retail price for this product. A cheap and easy solution to Apple's two major design failures with the Pencil. Not only does it keep the cap connected, it also prevents the Pencil from rolling off of every surface it is placed on. It takes a little fussing to keep the band in the proper position. If it is too high, the cap can spring off; too low and it is hard to recap; off-center and the charger does not line up properly when putting the cap on. Except for this, 5 stars. Highly recommended--especially for the price. One more thing. I bought the glow-in-the-dark for fun--but it is actually surprisingly useful for finding the pen in the dark or in a dark compartment in my bag.

I love the Apple Pencil, but Apple made some seriously bizarre decisions including the small, magnetic top that has to be removed so that you can charge it using the tiny lightning adapter. Both the top and the adapter are very easy to lose/misplace. I left my pencil charging over night, and one of my cats ran off with the top! I ordered a third party replacement top, and it was flimsy and unattractive. Thankfully, I found the original pencil top where my cat had left it a few days later. The PencilCozy fits very securely over the pencil top and a loop fits very snugly around the top of the pencil. It is made with very thick and durable rubber. Once attached, it is easy to remove/replace the top when chargin is needed. In addition, this package comes with a loop for the adapter, which is also easy to lose (believe me, I've done it!) so that you can securely attach the adapter to a lightning cable. The adapter loop is also thick, sturdy rubber and works great. I now use the same cable to charge my iPad pro and the pencil because I can easily remove the adapter without misplacing it. Overall, I'm very happy with the accessory.

I knew right away that I'd need one of these in order not to lose the Apple Pencil's cap. (I ordered the combo, but I now have a separate cable for charging the pencil, so I don't use the adapter holder.) The Cozy has been great on a few levels: 1) No chance of losing the cap, ever. Mission accomplished. 2) Anti-roll. My pencil is now incapable of rolling away, possibly to the floor, avoiding possible damage to this expensive device. 3) Cozy does not interfere with putting the pencil into my tablet's case. No interference with the pencil holder loop at all. Wow; this makes it worth it right there. I have found that putting the Cozy on was easy; there's no operational difficulty; and the Cozy logo is NOT obtrusive or objectionable. The silicon is very good quality and is holding up well, and is as white and clean as the day I bought it. Great product from nice people. Don't hesitate on this.

I'm giving this item 3 stars because while I love the concept of not losing the cap or the adapter to charge the pencil, the mechanism is finicky. The cap doesn't stay on the top of my pencil it is attached but it doesn't quite fit like the original cap that seemed to just magnetize closed. I have to almost snap it onto the pencil and even after doing that when I reach into my bag to get the pencil 95% of the time the cap has fallen back off. I love the tip protector that works awesome. As far as the adapter holder for the charging chord, I love the fact I do not have to look far to find the adapter and hold on to it for bare life however it has fallen off of my charging cable quite a few times. Luckily I was paying attention and noticed it before it was lost. I have tried to double tie it onto the chord to prevent that from happening but with normal wear and tare of taking the charger with you it seems to come undone. Now the two mechanisms definitely hold the cap and the adaptor and they do not fall out of the silicone holders, but like I previously mentioned the cap doesn't effortlessly fit on the pencil and it opens up in your bag and the adapter holder falls off of the cord sometimes. Overall it is a great concept and I have saved time by having the cap and the charging adaptor at my fingertips on several occasions, but it is not a total fix. If the cap stayed on and was not often times flopping about, and the adapter attachment wasn't coming undone and sliding up and down the chord or at times falling off...I would give it 5 stars. I have not used the extra tips yet so I cannot comment on the sensitivity or if they work the same as the original pencil tips.
