Latest review: I figured out how to open it. It fits my hero 12 black and I could now easily open it and replace my battery when needed. I just need to remember that it’s not waterproof. I highly recommend it for gopro hero 12 if you’re planning to connect a mic for your motorcycle ride. 1st review: I bought it so I could replace the battery when needed, but this thing is very difficult to open. Don’t buy it, you’ll regret it.

Perfect fit for my gopro10, I bought this because I only use external batteries on my gopro while out fishing.

If you run long videos on GoPro, this is a MUST. GoPro sells their own version which is arguably better seeing as you don’t have to expose the GoPros internal charge port to the elements, but this is a fraction of the price. I use my GoPro to record off-road dirtbike rides in the PNW, camera has been COVERED in mud, battered by rain, and it’s never caused a problem. The price savings is worth it to use this aftermarket option in my opinion.

This door can be a bit difficult to get attached to the hinge. It's also very difficult to open and close when you want to insert or remove the battery or memory card. There's not a real good place to put your finger nail in to open it, and whatever spring mechanism they use to keep the door closed is really tight. The little USB-C door is easy to use and most cables fit without any issue. If it were easier to open the door to access the battery, this would be an easy 5 stars, but the difficulty brings it down a notch.

Read the other 1-stars. Trust... Once this door is installed, it will not open again. No access to your battery. No access to your MicroSD card. That's it — your GoPro is sealed shut. I tried prying it open with my fingers and split two fingernails getting nowhere. I switched to a small screwdriver, hoping to swap in the larger MicroSD card I'd bought to record an important event. The door is metal. The body of the GoPro Hero 10 Black is not. The camera got scratched and dented in the attempt, and the door still wouldn't budge. So now I have a $550 camera I can't open, can't power down properly, and can't load fresh storage into — all because of a $13.99 accessory that's clearly not engineered for the job it claims to do. I expect ParaPace to make me whole on the damage to the GoPro – but they doubtless will not. If you're considering this product, don't. Learn from my mistake. Stick with the OEM door or a replacement from a manufacturer with a track record. This one will cost you far more than the sticker price. WARNING – Do not buy.

Let's face it, GoPro batteries are not made for extended filming. We use our GoPro to record sporting events of our children (softball, baseball, tennis) We need to be able to record about 1.5hrs at a time. With this replacement door, we can have the battery and memory card in the camera, and still have an external battery plugged into the GoPro. The door fits our Hero 12 well and provides easy access. If you need to charge and record at the same time this is the product for you.

Works as advertised on my Gopro 10 Black. To install, place at approximately 100 degrees and it snaps in perfectly. Play around with the angle until you get it, but don't force it as it goes in easily once you angle it properly. Also, once it is in place, pull the bottom so that can extend it and then close it by pushing down. The first time you open it, may need a flathead screwdriver to push the bottom partition down. After that, you can do so with your nail. It is great to charge the battery without having to open the door and all my charging cables fit in including my computer's charging cable. Not waterproof but I got the waterproof case for the camera as I will be diving shortly.

Me llegó a tiempo. Es de buena calidad, le queda bien a la cámara Gopro 13, pero al usarlo la camara ya no es hermética, entonces hay que tener en cuenta está situación.

Does what it is supposed to. Good fit as a replacement door with access to the USB port. Easy charging without removing the battery on GoPro Hero 10.

It's such an important piece, when you are not using the media mod. and you want to run off a power bank.
