The ink end of the eraser is a good compromise--it's not so hard or gritty that it damages the paper, but if I'm persistent, it will remove the ink. If this is the only ink eraser you can find--as it was for me--you can buy it with assurance it'll do the job.

Ne pas acheter car elle n’efface pas l’encre. Ne pas croire ce qie dit la description.

Does not erase pen. May work if ink is wet or very recently written, but did not work after ink was 2 days old.
