These easy-to-install bars are made from 1.25-inch chromoly steel tubing that is mandrel bent for added strength and a wrinkle-free finish. But a nerf bar is only as strong as its hardware so we use a stud/dowel and bolt instead of adding a weak link of expansion plugs. Our bars are finished with black powder coat.
