Will this fit a 2006 Silverado 2500 2WD?

it should fit 99-06 if you have the hole in the steering link to accommodate.

Can I order the tapered bolt? The one included snapped when applying the 35 foot pounds of torque.

Sorry to hear yours broke. I don’t know if it is available from Amazon or not, but I’m pretty certain you can get one from most any Dealer parts department. I had my steering damper installed at a local repair shop along with upper control arms & ball joints, lower ball joints as well as inner and outer tie rod ends. All ordered on Amazon. Also had a front end alignment done after all parts were installed. Good luck with yours.

Is this an exact fit for a chevy 2002 2500hd and i do not have to drill anything?

Should be. My truck is a 2006 2500HD with the 6.0L engine that I installed this on. It was direct fit to OEM part. 1999 thru 2006 body styles should be the same.
