Even this says it’s a gaming headset, I’m using this as my everything headset. Yes, you can use this for your Xbox, PlayStation and Switch consoles. If you want to control your volume, I suggest getting a game dac or amp. Also, you can use them for your Xbox Rog Ally. Hearing to a sports telecast with these on your ears, puts it on another level. You can hear the stadium noise and conversations during the telecast. The build quality is superior and in my opinion, they can take a beating and give you superior sound. The headset comes in a case with keys. They are very easy to use, just plug and listen. These will be the last headsets you will ever buy.

With a good Amp, this is amazing. Pricey, but if you have the money and set up, worth it.

Finally a World Class Gaming headphone! These are great. They sound fantastic and have gotten compliments on how I sound on the MIC. I also love that they provide a PREMIUM Cable alternative (no Mic on it) so the headphones can double as a pair of audiophile headphones. I’ve always been frustrated by gaming headsets because I find they’re always missing something. Look no further, these are solid in every regard. Are they expensive? Yeah somewhat, but they sound as good as headphones I’ve spent $1200 on and they have a mic as well. There’s a reason they have that price tag. Because unlike other gaming headsets these don;t leave me feeling like something is missing. If you decide to buy these you will enjoy them.

The microphone does not work and the audio barely works only after a few months of use. I have tried troubleshooting the product and called Audeze during business hours and otherwise, many times leaving voicemails, and have never received an answer or call back. There is a one-year warranty, but I am so frustrated at this point I am just returning them for a refund. Amazon informed me that they are deducting over $100 from the refund, so I lost money on super-premium headphones that never really worked. Super frustrating I recommend avoiding this product.

On the first day of using my headphones, I experienced a malfunction. While casually putting them on and off, I noticed that the rods had snapped. Apart from the subpar build quality, the sound quality is exceptional. However, the microphone quality is not satisfactory, which detracts from the overall value of the headphones considering their high price point.

This gaming headset is truly an incredible product. The sound is amazing. I run it using the ifi zen stack. (The dac and amp). You get amazing bass response when turning the xbass on the amp on. The lows,mids,and highs are insanely crystal clear. I've been buying countless headsets because I never found that perfect headset that I was looking for. I always buy high end gaming headsets but just never could cut it with what I was looking for. So I finally decided to spend a little more money to see what I could get. I love audeze products so I stuck with audeze. This headset has the biggest drivers I've had in a headset. Wasn't sure if I'd like open back and didn't know what to expect but I'm very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend. I don't use the mic tho so I haven't tried that out

Been dabbling in “Gaming Headsets” for about 2 years now. Have the Sennheiser 800s, Beyerdynamic 990 Pro X, 1990 Pro’s, VZR’s, Maxwells, PC38x, and a few others. It’s a Very Fun Hobby. With my PS5 Pro I’m using the Shiit Gunnr. Just got the Audeze LCD GX a few days ago and paired it with this DAC. It’s just jaw dropping really. The tuning for me is perfect. Zero need to EQ or mess with them at all. Super easy to drive(use with everything including plugged into a controller). Which is a big deal. Because they sound absolutely like nothing I’ve ever heard for gaming. These Planar’s are outstanding and I love the fact that I can get as low or loud as I want without having to worry about all the power requirements. Very light and super comfortable. I have a small head and sometimes have to buy Dekoni Nuggets to keep certain headphones from sliding. If you have the money and even are considering it do yourself a favor. I don’t use a mic much but it’s great also. Zero issues with it and it sounds very good also. This will be my main gaming headset for a long time I have no doubt. Sound is objective. But the minute I put these on and started playing I was in awe. That has not happened since I put on my Audeze Penrose set years ago. I love my 800s for sure. Those will be used at times also. But these cans are above and beyond what I expected. If you get these enjoy. 🤙
