Excellent reference guide
I inherited half of my mother's Matchbox collection. I really didn't know anything about the cars having not played with them as a child. This book was extremely helpful in understanding each car and what the value is. I am now purchasing all the cars from 1961 which is my birth year. I recommend this book.

Nice guide but not perfect
The guide has been very helpful in keeping track of what I have and what I'm missing now that I'm expanding my complete Sixties set with models from the Fifties. If matching to yours cars, however, use the numbers on the list as names don't always match. It would have been great to have all variations pictured instead of limited by the book's appearance and format as noted. My biggest disappointment are the models omitted. For instance #73 Mercury Station Wagen from 1968 is shown on the variations list but missing from the model list itself. For others using this guide, other models not listed are #16 Case Tractor, #35 Merryweather Fire Engine and #33 Lamborghini Miura, all from 1969.

Nice basic guide
Great for beginner's, well written, nice photo's, and history of lesney. Like the way this book is formatted. Update prices would be good

La edición y los materiales son muy buenos. el contenido se queda incompleto contra libros mas grandes pero que costaría trabajo estar cargando. De manera general es buena ayuda si sales buscar los coches que te faltan ya que tiene una lista al final para marcarlos.

This book is full of useful information about "real" Matchbox Toys. It has not been 100% formatted for Kindle so it is a bit complicated to use especially with the "hidden" pages covering vehicles from number 18 to 61. Obviously as I found them most people will. The book is very cheap and even with the flaws great value.

Not a big book but features colour photos of all models and lists variations, nice format finally for matchbox cars. Well worth it.
